My Christmas Wish for the Cats of My Little Kittie Inn 💛🐾
Hi everyone,
My name is Alexandria and I run My Little Kittie Inn a small, home-based rescue that currently has 40 precious cats in care. I know I won’t raise these funds in time for Christmas but everything helps and I will keep it ongoing because I am struggling at the moment and I need help.
It’s just me here. No big charity backing, no government funding, no team behind the scenes. Every dollar I earn and every hour I have goes straight to the cats.
I work six days a week to keep everything running… the feeding, the cleaning, the vet appointments, the socialising, the medications, the late-night emergencies, the scared ones needing patience… all of it. And I do it gladly, because they deserve love, dignity and a life where they are safe.
But the truth is: I can’t keep doing this entirely on my own.
I’m asking for help. And I know $10,000 sounds like a lot, but with 40 cats, it doesn’t stretch far.
Where your help will go:
• Food: $60 every single day to feed 40 cats with different dietary needs
• Flea & worming: Around $400/month
• Vet bills: I currently owe ~$800, and I would love to get my account into credit so when emergencies happen (and they do, often) I don’t have to spend days fundraising before I can get help
• Dentals & blood tests
: Many of my long-term residents are aging and need ongoing care
• Electricity: The aircon runs daily in spring and summer because it gets too hot in their shelter room and their comfort and safety always come first
Over Christmas time is especially hard to fundraise and if I have an emergency, I would like to have the funds to help the babies if needed.
Some of the cats here will likely never be adopted. Not because they aren’t deserving, but because they are elderly, shy, have FIV, anxiety, or past trauma.
And I promised them that they would never be discarded again.
So I’ve become their forever home.
What I’m asking for is simply this:
A Christmas miracle for them.
Stability.
Breathing room.
The ability to say “Yes, I can help” when the next cat needs saving.
To not have to panic when one of them gets sick.
To simply keep going.
If you can donate, even the smallest amount, it truly matters.
$3 helps.
$5 helps.
Sharing this post helps.
Every single act of kindness adds up to real, tangible care.
I know times are tough. I know everyone has their own battles.
But if you’ve ever smiled at one of their rescue stories, rooted for their progress, shared a post, shed a tear, or celebrated an adoption… then I’m asking from my heart — please help us keep going.
This is my Christmas wish…
To keep the doors open, the bowls full, the vet care ongoing, and the safe haven warm and running.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for always believing in these little souls.
They have no voice — you are theirs. 🐾💛
Please donate if you can, and please, please share this far and wide.
With love, hope and gratitude,
Alexandria & all the kitties at My Little Kittie Inn 🐈⬛🐈💛
