A Timely Gift from ARC 🙏🐾

On Friday, my rescue received a beautiful and much-needed donation from ARC. This generous gift of food came at exactly the right time just when we were in urgent need of support.

As many of you know, I’m currently raising funds to cover vet work and ongoing care for the cats in our rescue. This donation has eased a huge burden, and I’m beyond grateful.

ARC is a truly incredible organisation that supports many rescues like mine across the country. If you’re ever in a position to donate, I highly recommend supporting them they do wonderful work and make a real difference in the lives of animals.

🌸 Meet Callie – Now It’s Her Turn to Shine! 🌸

This beautiful fluffy calico girl has raised her family like a champ seven of her sweet kittens have already found loving homes, and now Callie is ready for her happily ever after 💕

Callie is friendly, playful, and loves a good pat. She’s not quite a lap cat yet, but with the right home and a little patience, she might just become one. She’s got a soft spot for people who understand her need for a bit of independence.

She’s not a fan of the other cats in her current foster home, so she’d do best as your one and only, or possibly with one calm, respectful feline friend. A quieter home with no young kids would be ideal for her to feel safe and settled.

Callie has done her job as a mum now she’s ready to be someone’s baby. Will that someone be you? 🐾

🌺Priscilla Update🌺.

Our beautiful girl Priscilla saw Dr. Susan yesterday at Box Hill Vet. A sample was taken from the lump on her forehead, and it revealed pus mixed with blood. Although Dr. Susan examined it under the microscope, no bacteria were visible at this stage.

She’ll remain on Amoxiclav for the next week. If there’s no improvement, we’ll change antibiotics and return for a follow-up.

Priscilla is currently being contained in a crate, as she’s not a cat I can medicate directly her antibiotics need to be mixed into her food.

As many of you know, we’ve been on a mission to find the sweet little calico kitten abandoned at the station. We haven’t given up far from it. We believe she’s hiding due to the cold and wet weather, but please rest assured, we still have people actively searching for her.But in the midst of that search, something unexpected happened…

When I put the call out for help, the incredible Mona from Kitten Rescue Australia dropped everything and rushed to the scene. While she waited, a surprise visitor appeared a little boy walked straight into the trap, almost as if he knew help had arrived.

He wasn’t microchipped and sadly not desexed which is a clear signs of a cat who had once belonged to someone. We believe he was dumped, as this train station has unfortunately become a known dumping ground.

Mona took him straight to her vet, where he’s now been fully vetted: desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and had full bloods done all of which came back perfect.

He’s around one year old and an absolute sweetheart friendly, affectionate, and far too lovely to have been left to fend for himself in such a filthy and dangerous place.He’ll be going into foster care shortly, but if you’re interested in adopting this divine little soul, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.Just look at him…

Priscilla needs your help.

Her post got a bit lost today with the emergency of the little calico baby, but her situation is also serious.She’s booked in to see Dr Susan tomorrow morning.

After reviewing her video, Dr Susan suspects it could be cryptococcosis a fungal infection that will require special testing. A sample will need to be taken and sent away, and unfortunately, that won’t be cheap.

I’ve started Priscilla on Amoxiclav for now, but if the test confirms cryptococcosis, she’ll need a different course of treatment with antifungal medication.

If you can spare anything to help with her vet costs, it would mean the world. No amount is too small. Thank you for supporting her. 🐾

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED 🚨
A kind member of the public has just sent me this heartbreaking photo of a little girl who’s been dumped at railway station in Sydney 💔

She’s been left with just a small bed, a scratching pole, and her feeding bowls clearly abandoned by someone who didn’t care where she ended up. Despite this, she’s still friendly, trusting, and even chats to passers-by 🥺

She looks to be about five or six months old, maybe a little older. Someone kind is feeding her do I have anyone in Sydney that can help her?

There’s always something happening at the shelter, and today it’s little Priscilla who needs our help. She’s woken up with a swollen lump between her nose and forehead. She’s already been on doxycycline for a mild case of cat flu, she is still fiesty and eating well but this new swelling is concerning.

She’s booked in to see Dr. Susan, and we’ll know more soon.

✨ Meet Lima, The Little Songbird Looking for Love ✨

Lima is a gorgeous 14-week-old kitten with a soft little heart and a big personality waiting to blossom. She’s still a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and loved, her sweet nature shines through.

She’s already started to trust curling up in bed with her foster carer at night, purring gently beside her. With a bit of patience and kindness, she warms up beautifully and even allows herself to be picked up once she knows you’re her person.

Lima is also playful to her core. She goes absolutely wild for feather toys, laser pointers, and anything she can chase. Her playtime energy is matched only by her singing voice,yes you read that right. This little lady is vocal and expressive, and sometimes it truly sounds like she’s trying to sing you a song. It’s equal parts adorable and hilarious.

She would thrive in a calm, loving home someone who understands that shy kittens need time to settle, but are worth every second of patience. Once she trusts you, she’s affectionate, cheeky, and full of life.

Lima is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her next chapter. Could that be with you?

Because really how could anyone resist a kitten who sings? 💕

Please welcome these three darling newcomers to the rescue!

It’s been a bit of a challenge finding the right person to take them on, but I’m thrilled to share that they now have a wonderful foster carer who will help nurture and prepare them for their forever homes.

One of my amazing friends in rescue has been feeding and gently socialising them in her backyard, doing everything she could to keep them safe and cared for, despite already having her own cats and helping the multiple strays in her street. Thanks to her dedication, they’re now ready for the next step.

They will be desexed, vaccinated, and head into foster care, where my lovely carer will work her magic and help them blossom into confident, adoptable little kitties.

Just look at those beautiful little faces how could you not fall in love? 💕🐾
