💔 A Local Family in Crisis – Please Help If You Can 💔
Troy and Joanne live right here in Wycheproof, in my great-grandmother’s old house on Webster Street. You’ve probably seen Jo walking her sweet little Jug, Sadie, around town, or maybe you know her son Charlie.
Right now, Jo is facing every parent’s worst nightmare. Her eldest son, Jesse, is in the ICU on life support after a devastating e-bike accident. He suffered a severe head injury and remains in a critical condition.
Jo has been by his side in Melbourne for over a week and will stay for as long as it takes — whether that’s another week or indefinitely, depending on Jesse’s outcome.
With no clear end in sight and so much uncertainty, Jo’s family is also facing financial stress from travel, accommodation, and time away from home. Her niece has set up a fundraiser to help lighten the load and give Jo the time and space to focus on Jesse.
