By law, groomers are not required to be qualified or insured - meaning anyone can pick up a pair of clippers and start grooming without training, qualifications, or coverage.

While there are many talented groomers who may not hold formal qualifications but do have solid training and experience, there has also been a noticeable rise in untrained operators offering low-cost grooms without the necessary skills or insurance.

Grooming isn’t just about appearance - it’s about your dog’s comfort, health, and wellbeing.

So, what are you paying for when you book with us?

✨ A professional service from start to finish, including:
• A double shampoo bath using high-quality, coat-specific products (whitening, sensitive, deshedding, medicated and more), followed by conditioner
• A full blow-out and fluff dry using professional equipment and techniques suited to your dog’s coat/behaviour/age
• Styling tailored to your dog’s lifestyle, coat type, and behaviour
• Safe and gentle handling by trained staff

🎓 Qualifications & ongoing education
I hold a Diploma in Dog Grooming, and my team regularly complete courses in styling and canine first aid to keep our skills and knowledge up to date.

🛡 Insurance & safety
We are fully insured. Grooming involves sharp tools and moving animals, while we take every precaution, it’s essential your pet is protected and in experienced hands.

🏠 Behind the scenes
Running a professional salon includes rent, equipment maintenance, utilities, wages, superannuation, tax, booking systems, and premium products. (For example, grooming scissors alone can cost up to $500 per pair.)

I take immense pride in my work and in the care we provide to every dog that comes through our doors. I also invest in my team to ensure your pets receive the highest level of service every visit.

💸 PRICING
All prices are starting from and may vary depending on:
🐾 Coat condition
🐾 Size
🐾 Behaviour
🐾 Time required

We recommend grooming every 6–8 weeks to keep your pup happy, healthy & mat-free 💖
⏰ Dogs overdue may incur an extra maintenance fee

✂️ Larger dogs & styled grooms must stay on a 6–8 week schedule
If not maintained, we may be unable to complete the groom due to time & coat condition.

🪮 MATTING POLICY
Matted coats can be very uncomfortable for your pup 💔

💰 $50 per hour for matted dogs
✂️ Most cases require a full shave-down
⚠️ De-matting is painful and only done if safe

🚨 Important:
We are not responsible for:
• Nicks, cuts, irritation or injury due to matting
• Skin issues revealed after grooming
• Pre-existing conditions under the coat

👩‍⚕️ Any vet costs remain the owner’s responsibility

📅 CANCELLATION POLICY
⏰ 24 hours notice required
❌ Late cancellations: $50 per dog
🚫 No-shows: $100 per dog

Please collect your pup within 1 hour of notification 🐕
💰 After that: $1 per minute per dog

Some pups need a little extra support 💕

Applies to:
🐾 Anxious or reactive dogs
🐾 Aggressive behaviour
🐾 Senior dogs
🐾 Injuries or mobility issues

💰 $30 fee per dog

We always use gentle, safe handling techniques 🐶
Muzzles are only used when absolutely necessary

⚠️ If a groom cannot be safely completed, it will still be chargeable.

We may refuse or stop a groom if safety is at risk 🚨

We also have zero tolerance for rude or abusive behaviour ❌
This may result in refusal of future services.
