Will need experienced home to finish him but has all the right makeup and temperament to make a great little horse for someone. $500 as is non negotiable or can arrange him to be gelded for you. I am gobsmacked at the nerve people show when they judge a book by their covers. Many people know what we do here at Gumnut Lodge. We rehome and train horses that many have given up on or horses that were sent to their ends. We give them a chance and bring them back up to scratch and rehome to loving families. Too judge a farm/owner of horses that are in the paddock that is seen as 'poor' as abuse. That you don't even ask the question to why they are in a lighter state. That says more about the person then this place ever will. We have broodmares that have come from hard country not green acres in the suburbs. We have some young and some very old. We brought back here to bring back to scratch and have their foals weaned. They have come an extremely far way since first arriving. We are not a government funded rescue. Everything is straight from our pockets. The horses we sell. Fund more lives to be bought and saved. Next time anyone wants to judge the horses or my farm, please come see me first so I can set your minds at ease.

Maggie has been with us for a few months now living life in our paddocks so it's time to get her back into work and it's evident that this mare knows business. She has been a mustering horse and it shows! Track a beast and all we can say is HOLD ON. Going to look forward to working with her abit and showing her the drums.
