Howdy team, would like you to meet Tommy. All the way from the state of zero ( Qld). He arrived with bad flu symptoms, tested negative and was given a course of antibiotics . He is now healthy and ready for Training. Tommy is a sensitive pony breed, destined for the showring. His current desensiting program includes: strange lady that feeds him in a flapping dressing gown and small child that runs through paddock with empty feed bag. 🤣.
Main issue is mounting, which has previously only been accomplished while hobbled.

Little update. The beautiful Florence has been home for some time now and has competed at her first comp. Very proud of Shae and the work she has put into this mare after she went home. Well done.

A fantastic experience to be able to have Florence's owner be involved in her starting, I am sure it will make for a special combination between them. We are now under saddle and out in the big yard, going very nicely.

Never underestimate the power of long reining. Do it everywhere, all the places you will eventually ride a newly started horse, it will be a life long advantage.

The very beautiful Florence, here for starting, an older Mare, but she has settled in very well (getting use to dogs, chooks, kids and cows). Super happy with her progress.

Well it has been a while. With everything going on, not a lot happening. Today we decided to bring in the paddock bashers. Caramel and Spirit have been living the high life for a couple of years with nothing done with them. 2 days long reining, then saddled up. Wow, so super proud of them both. They took it in their stride, remembering everything taught to them years ago.

Been super busy helping people and horses so have been a bit slack in updates lately. Meet our new kid on the block, here for some education and training. Beautiful young man, doing well so far. Cheers

Hi Team
Just like to put a thought out there when you call in a trainer to HELP you with a problem with your horse . Ether it be a brideing issue . Float loading bucking . So on so on . You need to be responsible and say to them EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. That has happened with you and the horse /pony in the PAST . This will give them a good understanding on how to help the horse in that one days season . Or time that is spent with them .

Howdy everyone, quick catch up with our sponsored rider Issy. She and Tommy have been out and about competing and as always doing us proud. There has been a couple of crashes ( all part of the sport) but They have both continued to step up and keep going with some awesome results. Issy has also been spending time here with us learning more about horsemanship and handling, helping me with the horses I have in training. Super proud of this young woman.

Honey was a little nervous on arrival here with us, she is coming along well. With all the work and handling she is really starting to show more confidence and wanting to be with us. Some pics of her with Lola.
