Meet my new friend Max. He is a very special boy who has undergone some big surgeries to be here living his best life. He found the best forever family, who also adopted his sister - double sibling adoptions are the best! After many happy years together, Max’s sister has sadly passed away 😢 Max is now a solo furry family member, getting lots of love and cuddles.

Max is an older follow and almost deaf. Hand signals and an ability not to take him by surprise, help him to know what’s going on around him. Don’t let him fool you though, this furry friend has an inner puppy that likes to come out to play….rolling on the floor, playful movements and lots of talking. He will happily be your shadow, lap up as many belly rubs as you can give, and he has the sweetest nature.

During my stay with Max, he was told by the vet that he couldn’t go on his daily walks through the bush. He had a bone issue that needs medication- capsule, liquid and a joint chew. Max was the best at having his medication- it truly blew me away! Thankfully the vet is already seeing an improvement. Hopefully when I’m back in April, Max and I will be able to enjoy some morning walks together. His humans have already said they would like for me to care for him every time they go away….which would be my honour. Thank you Lisa and family for trusting me to care for your very special boy, Max 🥰💜

How lucky am I? Two and a half weeks with my sweet, very furry friend, Sooty. Sooty is an older gentleman who loves head scritches, food, snuggles on the couch and soaking up the sunshine. I unfortunately got a nasty virus during my sit, and dear Sooty was a wonderful caring friend, offering extra snuggles, healing purrs and lots of love.
Our furry friends seem to know when extra tlc is needed, and I am blessed to be the person who gives them extra tlc when their humans go off on adventures.
Here are some photos of this lovely furry friend 🐾💜

Our cat friends are not big fans of having tablets. To be fair, who is? 😕 So when it has to be done, here are some helpful tips to make it less traumatic for all involved.

Another lovely sit with my dear, sweet and very furry friend, Sookie. Just over a week in Katoomba with this fabulous character, which also has some surprise elements. For those who read my previous post, dear homeless Tomkin (now Tom) has a safe, warm and loving home with a special human (Janine) and her son (Matt) and two furry friends (Casper and Charlie). Unfortunately during my sit, Janine had an unexpected stay in the hospital (she is healing well), so I took care of her 3 furry family during- Tom still seperated and staying in places he feels safe while he adjusts. Sookie was unimpressed every time I returned smelling of other furries and would tell me all about it haha She forgave me in time but she continued to tell me off each time I returned. Thankfully after washing their scent off me, extra tlc was given, and I was once again her beloved friend. As much as they can communicate most of their wants and needs, wouldn’t it be amazing to see inside their mind? Furry friends are such amazing creatures. I feel so blessed to do this work 💜🐾
