👍The 5th of 5 lessons GRADUATION DAY

🏫 Canine Howlistic Health, Bangalow.
🔥 This course is fully booked.
🚙 Parking is available in the industrial estate carpark.
📱 Please make sure your puppy's vaccination is up to date in PetExec.
🐶 GEAR TO BRING 🐶
A flat lead and collar. A harness if you use one as well as a flat collar. A treat pouch. Some yummy dog treats 🍗. A toy 🥎. P**p bags 💩. A dog bed. A crate if your puppy is crate trained.
🟡 Kids and family members are welcome. Please supervise children at all times. Please don't let kids interact with the other puppies. Unfortunately kids are not allowed to play in the carpark or in the Canine Howlistic Health facility.
Please provide quiet games so the puppies are not disturbed.

🐕‍🦺 ON LEAD
🔸️All BEGINNER level dog MUST be on a short lead while at the school and during lessons. A trainer may provide a longline during an exercise. The dog must go back on a short lead at the end of that exercise.

🔸️All INTERMEDIATE level dogs MUST be on a short lead while at the school. A long line MUST be used when working distance exercise. NO INTERMEDIATE DOGS OFF LEAD.

🔸️All ADVANCED level dogs MUST be on a short lead or long line unless specifically directed by a trainer for an individual exercise. The dog MUST be put back on lead at the end of the exercise.

❤️ BANDANA SYSTEM 💛
Red and yellow bandanas are available for reactive and anxious dogs.
Please give extra space to dogs with a red and yellow banda.
If a trainer asks you to put a bandana on your dog, you must use a bandana in every class, until a trainer says otherwise.

📣 ADVOCATE!
Communication is the best way to keep our dogs safe and happy when training. If you need more space for your dog, speak up and move to a different location in the group classes.
If someone brings their dog too close, ask for some space.
If you are asked to give some space, no matter how friendly your dog is, respect the request and move on. It's not about your dog, it's about creating a training environment that works for the majority of people and their dogs.

📲 PRE-BOOKED CLASS REQUESTS 📲

💻 Please place your Sunday group class requests by tonight.

🌞 The NCK9A group classes on Sunday are to be pre-booked through PetExec.

🐶 Please lodge your request in to group training by the Friday night before each Sunday.
Classes are still commitment free in nature, meaning you can book one at a time and refunds will be issued if for some reason you can not attend the class.

🦊 Occasionally, some classes may have limited spots available should we have limited trainers. This will be made clear in the class description in PetExec and in social media posts.
Unfortunately, refunds will not be available for those classes.

🤔 How do I request into the class?

Head to "request group training" either on PetExec website or mobile app, select the pet you wish to enrol at the top of the page then scroll down and select your chosen class/classes and hit "submit request" at the bottom of the page. Your request will come through to admin and be accepted as soon as possible. To check if your request has been accepted head to "my calendar" there you will see the classes you've enrolled in.

🙂 How do I pay?
Once your request has been approved, the payment will be processed through PetExec. If you wish to pay cash, please request the spot through PetExec by the Friday night and then pay on the Sunday at the desk on arrival.

🎓 Puppy School Graduates are welcome to join any Beginners class.

Coming in hot, we have our next Intermediate step up team, Storm and Xena - pronounced Zen-ahh (we weren’t saying it right either sorry girl)!

Storm reached out to us exactly a year ago with interest in ALL our services (should’ve known then). Before a private Foundation session with Zeph was booked she was already enquiring about the process of moving to intermediate - a high achiever from the start! She had done her research, seen our videos and had her goals set.
Although it wasn’t smooth sailing, Xena had and still is working through her own challenges with reactivity. At 16 Storm had done extensive work with Xena already but needed extra help to address her reactivity toward other dogs, that’s when Sarah stepped in and conducted some sessions with Storm and worked with Xena on our Stay and Train to build clear communication with Xena and to be honest, help her find her confidence and independence. Although Storm had done plenty of obedience with her, it came down to Xena relying on instruction and unable to regulate and make decisions on her own. So Storm learned the subtle art of capturing and neutralisation!

After a handful of classes and plenty of homework Storm then faced the beginner test head on and successfully moved up to the intermediate level. Now they face more challenges in the higher level that will propel their relationship and build on their already extensive toolkit! We are so looking forward to seeing where this team go to next, congratulations from the NCK9A team! 👏👏👏
