Im A big believer in the old saying,
“A good horse is never a bad colour” and I certainly own my fair share of pain old chestnuts.
However it’s always exciting to see these gorgeous patterns arrive on babies 🥰
Cannot wait to to see this guy unfolds in a few days .. he’s up and ticking all the boxes so far 🤩 and he’s going to need a name !

We would like to announce we have sold our senior stud Magnesium recently.
He has gone to a fabulous home who will give him a wonderful knowledgeable place to live and He may still stand at stud with the new owners and I am happy to pass on contact details for the new home if you’re interested in inquiring into using him.
Magnum has led a wonderful life with us, and we enjoyed owning him 🙂 sad to see him move on but also I’m so happy for his new owners that makes it easier to say goodbye, he was a pleasure to own and we have retained some of his progeny who might just have gunsmoke babies one day later on 🙂
Looking forward to seeing his new owners enjoying him.

We will only be standing one stud at painted valley stud now and that being our black and white stallion Woodstock lil Gunsmoke
He will be strictly standing to only 2-3 outside mares next season so you must book early. We will not be overloading him or my sanity and we will only be accepting approved mares to breed with him.
We will hopefully have 3 foals due this season by him and they will be for sale.

We hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and have a fun filled welcome to the new year

We knew these results via parentage however it’s always nice to have your own results on paper for reference and now they will be printed on his rego certificate etc

Being Homozygous Tobiano this guy will always produce a coloured baby 🙂 and black based !
Plus confidence breeding to him knowing he’s negative for the disease panel too 🙂
