Upper Yarra Pony Club

Who we are

We are a friendly and fun equestrian club providing professional horse education for people of any age in the Upper Yarra Valley.

Our rallies are regularly held on the third Sunday of the month from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

Where we are

Our Clubrooms are located at Wesburn Park in Wesburn, where our facilities include several arenas, a cross country course, round pen, yards and wash facilities. There is ample room for float parking, and access to bushland tracks. And we have amazing views.

What we do

In addition to our monthly rallies we also offer regular Freshman events, activity days and more recently the revived YarraValley Horse Show. We run a canteen and uniform shop on rally days.

Our members

Our club members range in age from 5 years and we pride ourselves on building supportive relationships and strong connections - between people and their horses. Our instructors are professionally accredited and go above and beyond for the children. Young members are supported to achieve rider Efficiency Certification through PCAV.

Prospective members are welcome to come and observe our rally days and meet club members and instructors. We’d love to meet you.

Come and Try Days are welcome and allow you to trail our club on a rally day and have some fun. There is a charge for Come and Try of $40 to cover insurance. You will need your own horse. Message us if your have queries and to book.

Membership is available via the offical Pony Club Victoria website and includes many benefits.

COVID 19 restrictions

We are currently unable to offer rallies due to current pandemic restrictions.
