Just beautiful 💔

My dear human, I see you’re crying because it’s time for me to go.
But please… don’t cry.
Let me explain something to you.
I know you’re heartbroken, but I want you to know — I’m not sad. I’m grateful.
Grateful that I got to meet you.
So many dogs never get that chance… to feel loved, to be part of a family, to be someone’s everything.
But I did. I had you.
I know you’re thinking you could’ve done more —
but please don’t blame yourself.
You gave me a home, a name, your time, your kindness, your love.
And that’s more than many ever get.
You gave me a beautiful life, even if it feels like it ended too soon.
We animals, we don’t live in the past or worry about the future — we live in the moment.
And every moment with you was filled with love.
That’s when my real life began… the day I met you.
So please, don’t cry for me.
I leave with a heart full of joy.

🍫 Easter & Chocolate Toxicity in Pets – What You Need to Know! 🍫

Easter is just around the corner, bringing plenty of chocolate eggs and bunnies! While we love indulging in sweet treats, it's important to remember that chocolate is highly toxic to pets—especially dogs and cats.

🚨 Why is chocolate dangerous for pets?
Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which pets can’t metabolise effectively. Even small amounts can cause vomiting, diarrhea, increased heart rate, seizures, and in severe cases, death.

⚠️ Chocolate Toxicity Levels by Type:
🍫 Milk Chocolate – Mild toxicity can occur at 10g per kg of body weight, while severe toxicity occurs at 20g per kg.
🍫 Dark Chocolate (Semi-Sweet) – Even more dangerous, with mild toxicity at 5g per kg and severe toxicity at 10g per kg.
🍫 Baking / Cooking Chocolate – The most toxic! As little as 2g per kg can be highly poisonous.

🐾 What to do if your pet eats chocolate?
If you suspect your pet has ingested chocolate:
🚑 Call us immediately on 03 9369 1822
⚕️ Note how much and what type of chocolate was eaten
🐶 Watch for signs like vomiting, restlessness, rapid breathing, or tremors

💡 Prevention is key!
✅ Keep Easter chocolates out of reach of pets
✅ Educate children and guests about chocolate toxicity
✅ Consider pet-safe Easter treats instead
