Rescued a nice big tiger snake from netting on top of a chook house in Wentworth Falls (no injury) then took some nice close ups. I like this photo as it shows the battle scars & scratches of an older adult snake. If you look closely you can see its tongue poking out

This tiger snake just wants to get away from the human threat and is gently warning me off!

A rare but wonderful call out for a Broadie, or Broad head snake (Hoplocephelus bungaroides). It is listed as an endangered species, it has a beautiful pattern and people often mistake it for a baby python. It’s a real privilege to experience these wonderful native animals. It is dangerously venomous. Tim 0484 685 686 licenced snake catcher.

This a very pretty tiger snake (from Leura) during release, it’s a typical display (flattened out neck) and turning of the head towards the threat (me). You can see how it locked onto me again when I swapped sides. All the time it was really just trying to get to safety where it can hide in the bush.
