Congratulations to Mini who found her new forever home recently 🥳

This little lady was originally living with an older gentleman who sadly passed away.

There was nowhere for Mini to go so a kind neighbour offered to take her in. Unfortunately their existing cat would not accept Mini, no matter what they tried, so they reached out to us for help.

Mini stepped out of her cat carrier confidently and became very smoochy with her foster mum very quickly, so we didn’t waste any time advertising her for adoption.

The same night we created her listing we received an enquiry from a lovely guy who lives by himself and was seeking a smoochy companion to keep him company.

He was in love before he even met Mini and the rest is history.

Here she is checking out her new home on the first day, and as you can see, she seems very happy 🙂

Thank you to Mini’s new dad for giving her a second chance at a great life.

And a very special thanks to Mini’s foster mum for taking such good care of her, during her brief but cuddly stay 🥰

Congratulations to Yuki who found his new forever home recently.

This handsome little gentleman was well loved by his previous owner but sadly they could no longer give him the home that he deserved, so they reached out to us for help.

Yuki didn’t take long to settle into his foster home so we advertised him relatively quickly and before long we had more enquiry than we knew what to do with.

Which is understandable given he is a handsome little gentleman.

A lovely young couple met him a couple days ago and it was love at first sight, so they decided to bring him home.

Yuki now has a brand new family who can give him all the love and cuddles he could ever want, complete with a little brother who cannot wait to meet him.

Thank you to his new family for putting their hand up to give Yuki a second chance at a great life and a very special thank you to his amazing foster family who made this possible.

One more homeless cat now has a home 🙂🏡

ADOPTED 🥳

Congratulations to Horchata AKA ChaCha who has found her new forever home today 🥳

ChaCha came to us after her previous owner sadly could no longer give her the love and life that she deserved.

ChaCha had a couple trials while in our care, during which time it became very clear that this sassy and grumpy little princess needed a home without any other pets.

Despite being occasionally grumpy and full of sass, this little lady is also incredibly loving and absolutely adores people, not to mention being very photogenic, so we were very surprised that she didn’t find a new home almost straight away.

But after more than 9 months in foster care, she has finally found her perfect new home with a lovely woman who was searching for a sassy companion full of personality.

And she has certainly found that in ChaCha.

Congratulations and thank you to her new forever mum for putting her hand up to give Horchata a second chance at a great life.

And a very special thank you to her amazing foster family for taking such good care of her for so long.

Everyone finds a home eventually 🏠

Once upon a time there was a little tortie princess named Jazzy… and she was on a quest to find her very own prince charming.

Meet Jazzy, a sweet and gentle 18-month-old tortoiseshell girl with soft multi-coloured markings and a heart that opens fully once she feels safe. This little lady has been on quite the adventure, and now she’s ready for her happily-ever-after, complete with a charming feline prince by her side.

Jazzy’s story began as a likely stray or colony cat. She was brought into a Ballarat shelter by a ranger last December. The kind staff worked hard to help her feel secure, but the busy shelter simply wasn’t the right kingdom for this sensitive girl. They reached out to us for help, and we were able to welcome her into a quiet foster home.

When Jazzy first arrived she was very shy, preferring to stay in her cosy enclosure like a princess in her tower. With patience, soft voices and a whole lot of love, she began to emerge after about a week - peeking out, exploring, and discovering the other cats.

It quickly became clear that our girl has a definite soft spot for the gentlemen. Every time the resident male cat, Izzy, appeared, Jazzy lit up with curiosity and confidence, as if a dashing prince had just walked into the room.

Fast-forward a couple of months and this little lady has well and truly found her stride. She is now playful, smoochy, social and full of classic “tortitude.” She can still be a bit timid when first meeting new people, but she genuinely loves human company. Give her a little time to get to know you and before you know it she’ll be coming to you seeking out pats and scratches… when she’s in the mood, of course.

She rubs against legs to say hello, has an adorable little meow that appears right on cue at dinner time, and is more than happy to jump up on the bed or couch for a quiet hang-out or nap. Play is another sure-fire way to her heart. The wand toy is her absolute favourite, and she’ll happily chase a laser across the floor.

Jazzy is approx 20 months old and is located in Flemington with her amazing foster dad.

Although she is loving and affectionate in her own special way, Minette is also quite shy and timid, particularly when first in new environments and does not like to be touched or picked up.

YET!

She has improved in leaps and bounds since she arrived in our care and is getting more and more confident every day. We’ve been really excited to see how far she has progressed while in our care, particularly when she’s had such a rough start. Her story is a sad one :(

Minette was originally adopted from a rescue and when she first arrived in her new home she was extremely frightened. But with patience and kindness Minette did eventually find her confidence and was confidently able to move around the home. But her previous owner did have another cat who sadly bullied her quite often, causing her to withdraw.

Sadly her previous owner decided to move overseas and needed to rehome her cats as a result. Amazingly, they did not think Minette could survive the move into a new household and wanted to have her put to sleep.

CRAZY!

But fortunately we were able to convince them to surrender her into our care and she’s now living a great life in her foster home.

As expected, she was quite shy initially, spending most of her time hiding and only coming out at night, but with time and love ( and a few treats ) she found her confidence and her beautiful personality began to shine through. As time went on she only got more and more confident and comfortable around her foster mum.

Minette quickly decided that her foster mums bed was her favourite place to sleep, but initially only when her foster mum wasn’t in it. Minette would patiently wait on a nearby chair until her foster mum got up and made her bed before she jumped up and made herself comfortable. But over time, Minette found her confidence and surprised us all by jumping up and making herself comfortable, while her foster mum was still in bed.

Minette is approximately 7 years old and is located in Port Melbourne.

Meet Princy, a soft and gentle fluffy tabby sweetheart who is seeking a quiet, loving home and just just waiting to steal the right person’s heart.

Princy started life as one of three kittens born to a stray in his current family’s yard. They took the little ones in to keep them safe, and while two of his siblings have already found new homes, Princy stayed. He has been desexed, microchipped, registered and kept up to date with vaccinations.

His family love him dearly, but with a young daughter and a second baby on the way they can no longer give him the time and affection he needs and deserves. We’re helping advertise him on their behalf in the hope he can move straight from his current home into a forever one.

Princy is a sweet and gentle soul. He can be a little shy and reserved when first meeting new people, so he will need a short adjustment period and some patience. Once he feels cozy and safe, though, his true personality shines through. He becomes the ultimate fluffy companion, trotting up to say hello, gently asking for playtime, and rolling over to offer his soft belly in the clearest invitation for rubs.

Human companionship means the world to him, and he thrives on quiet affection and quality time.

If you have a peaceful home, a warm lap, and the patience to let a shy sweetheart become your devoted companion, Princy could be the perfect match.

Frankie and Freddie’s first night in care.

While they were a little shy at first, as to be expected, they seemed to settle in relatively quickly and were happy to accept their foster dad’s attention.

Freddie will normally hide in the litter box for the first few days in a new environment, so the fact that she’s out, albeit behind the bed, is a really good sign.

These sweet tabby sisters are approximately 5 years old and will be available for adoption soon, once they’re had a chance to settle into their new foster home.
