Sale of Business

This is to let everyone know that with effect from Friday 1st August 2025 Kelly and Izzy will be taking over as the new owners of Shampooches for Dogs. Most of you will know them already and I’m sure will be thrilled with this news. Nothing will change for you, our valued clients, all your forward bookings will be honoured and you shouldn’t notice too much difference.

However, the one change to please take note of is the new email address for all future bookings: [email protected]
Please don’t send any further emails after the end of July to the Bigpond email as this will be closed.

It’s bittersweet for me, Carol, the current owner but I’m happy to be passing the reigns into the very capable hands of Kelly and Izzy who most of you will already know and know what beautiful groomers they are.

I started Paws at Play Dog Daycare and Grooming back in 2011 in Wangara and then downsized, rebranded and moved to the current premises back in 2015 and renamed the business to Shampooches for Dogs. It’s been an incredibly busy 10 years in Wanneroo. I wanted to mention and thank groomers, Bec and Ciara, who many of you will remember groomed your pooches for many, many years. They contributed a huge amount to the success of the business in the early years and I thank them deeply for all their hard work, kindness, loyalty and dedication.

Most of all a huge thank you to all our clients, past and present, without you we couldn’t exist. Thank you for continually entrusting us with the care of your pooches for so many years. I’ve always appreciated your loyalty and your business, I never took it for granted and am certainly very grateful.

Benson (Benny Boy), my beautiful boy was only a few months old when I started the daycare and he always loved coming in to play every day, many of you will remember him. He’s now nearly 15 years old and has slowed down a lot although he’s still fit and healthy and I truly hope that he’ll make his 15th birthday in November. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you again for supporting my small business for so many years and I hope that you’ll continue to support Kelly and Izzy for many years to come.
Benny Boy and I might see some of you around at the local dog friendly cafes, otherwise if not, best wishes, thank you again and goodbye …

It’s been another busy year in the salon and once again we thank you for your business and entrusting us with the care of your four legged family members.

We’ve had another busy year in the salon with so many of our regulars booking in with us for the whole year. We cannot express how grateful we are to you for continuing to allow us to take care of all your dogs’ grooming needs.
We’d also like to welcome all our new customers that have joined us this year, we’ve loved meeting you all.

Hello Everyone,

We currently have a few appointments available next week. Our books are also open to new customers with small to medium sized dogs (up to 15kgs) so if you’re looking for quality and compassionate grooming please give us a go.
We use only quality Australian made shampoos and grooming products that give excellent results and are gentle enough to avoid skin irritations.
