ℹ️ Nose Work class information ℹ️

We offer three classes per week; Monday mornings, Monday and Tuesday nights. Class spots are currently in high demand with the growing interest in nose work, which is great to see.

As our class numbers are capped to deliver the best learning experience possible for both ends of the leash, we can’t always fit everyone in but please feel free to contact us about availability.

We sometimes have fill-in spots available on short notice. Please get in touch if you’re interested in joining our casual students list.

The ACSW acknowledges the time and assistance provided by volunteers, and in recognition of your valuable contribution, ACSW offers one volunteer free entry into an ACSW trial of the same level, ie Level 1 EST.

To be eligible, volunteers must help at an event all day.

That’s a wrap! 🏁

Today we hosted the second of our trials on the ACSW - Australian Canine Scent Work calendar for 2026, a L1 Exterior EST at Wangi Wangi.

The gods were smiling on us after some pretty poor weather only a few days ago. Today the sun was shining and conditions were perfect for nose work! 👌

We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to the day; CO - Danielle Leong, Judges - Lisa Heeley and Tanya Edwards, Trainee Judge - Becc Johnson, the competitors and their dogs, and our amazing team of volunteers 🙌

We are so fortunate to have such an amazing venue to host our trials. Thank you to Wangi Wangi Public School (WWPS) for allowing us access to their fabulous place of learning 🙏

We’ll share the photos of the super teams in a separate post. Here are some glimpses of the day from the host’s perspective.

Last Sunday, Ember and I put our training to the test at the ACSW NW3 trial hosted by K9 Nose Time at Galston.

As always, Ember gave her best 👌🤩 She found all the hides and I managed to not make any mistakes 😮‍💨

It was a long day (we left home at 6:00am and didn’t get back until after 7:30pm) with some large search areas but I’m thrilled that we were able to gain our second NW3 title 🥳

Thank you to our host K9 Nose Time, ACSW Officials and fabulous volunteers who were always smiling even when it was raining 🙏😊

Last but not least, thank you to our nose work instructor Megan Bowe of K9 Nosey Parkers for your guidance and support ☺️
