Ardoch Racing Stables Ardoch Racing is a small forward thinking husband and wife team, dedicated to producing a small team of winning race horses.

We also offer pre-training with individual programs tailored to each horse. Breaking in with a good foundation of education.

We have been a little quiet on socials last few weeks.

A bit of a tumble last month saw me (Jessie) land myself in hospital a bit battered and bruised. Unfortunately after being bucked off I coped a kick on the way down, once I could breathe again a quick trip to the hospital with the ambulance team after some pain meds it was determined that I had broken ribs and good bruising to my liver. All repairable and has now finally settled down. Massive thanks to Stephen my amazing husband who kept all the horses well cared for but we unfortunately have taken a months step back in our time line again. It seems we are not meant to ever catch up around here.

2026 better be our bloody year!!!!

Finally finishing up the last lot of yards that had boxes built for horses to go into today. If the weather ever settles down and the rain gives us a break we will be able to get the next 4 yards boxes set up with all materials sitting waiting to go. Come on sunshine ☀️

Off we go again. Has been a few miles travelled getting our horses worked across both of our training centres the last couple weeks. We have been frequenting both Mount Gambier and Hamilton with pre trainers and young ones needing gate work mount gambier has been super valuable and Hamilton’s long back straight with the nice incline getting the race horses ready to tackle the races again this month and get our colours back out there. 🐴

The awesome little (big) Tommy is ready to head off tomorrow round the track then off to his trainer for a poke around and then a spell. Another breaker heading home 🐴
