🦴 Osteoarthritis is a chronic and degenerative joint disease which causes mobility issues and pain in our senior pets.

Dogs and cats are considered seniors from the age of 7, depending on their breed size and genetics.

Common signs of osteoarthritis are:
⚠️ Decreased mobility and limping
⚠️ Sleeping more often
⚠️ Weight loss or gain
⚠️ Muscle weakness
⚠️ Weakened bladder control
⚠️ Reduced vision or hearing
⚠️ Changes in cognitive function (confusion)

Preventative dental care is the key to your pet’s health. We recommend professional teeth cleaning to ensure your pet’s teeth and gums remain healthy and plaque free… just like us humans!

Signs of dental disease are:
⚠️ Bad breath
⚠️ Reluctance to eat
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Bleeding or red gums
⚠️ Discolouration or build up of tartar
⚠️ Swelling around mouth or eyes
⚠️ Tooth loss

In the image above, you can see the before and after image of a professional teeth clean that has removed tartar and staining with the dental scaler. All pets need to be anaesthetised (like Floyd) so we can ensure safe and effective treatment.
