It is with great sadness that we share some unexpected and heartbreaking news — our most beloved and well-known guest, Sir Mango, has passed away this week. 🧡

For those of you who have visited us over the years, you will know Sir Mango well. This magnificent Maine C**n was without question the most famous resident at Coolum Country Cat Retreat. Regal, beautiful, and utterly adored — by us, and by so many of you.

His passing has come as a complete shock, and we are all deeply saddened. He was one of those special souls you never imagine not being here.

To his family — our hearts go out to you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful boy with us and with our entire community over these past ten years. It has been the greatest privilege to know him and care for him. He was loved here more than words can say.

Rest easy, Sir Mango. You will never be forgotten. 🐾

We are so very happy to let everyone know that sweet little Mia has found a loving forever home. A lovely lady that lost her beautiful kitty last year has now happily given Mia a new home.
We can’t thank you enough for giving Mia this opportunity to be loved and cared for so very much. 😻😻

We have come across another sweet girl named Mia that needs a loving home as soon as possible. The owner had to surrender Mia as she could no longer care for her
Where she is now is just temporary and desperately needs a forever home or sadly maybe put down 🙁
Mia is 7 years old, an indoor cat, desexed & microchipped.
She can be a little shy to start with, but she comes around once she gets to know you. 😻

Unfortunately we have another beautiful boy that’s needs a forever home too. Once again the owner is very upset that they are in this situation 😞
Lenny is a beautiful, one eyed Chocolate Burmese. He unfortunately lost his eye 2 years ago from another cat that attacked him. Lenny is 11 years old, perfect health, owner also has his papers from the breeder.
Lenny is a big smooch, loves cuddles and brushes. He loves to go for walks with his harness on too.
He would best suit a home that he is the only kitty there, he likes children, just too young. 😻😻

As you would all remember, seeing our beautiful Spook, as Cat of the week not long ago.
We are reaching out to all our cat lover followers, to help find a loving, caring, forever home for Spook.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, and with great sadness, Spooks owners can no longer care for him A very hard & sad decision had to be made, so they now need the comfort of knowing he will hopefully find another home where he will be cared and loved for just as much as he always has.
Spook is about 8 years old and he is now a Diabetic, which he needs an insulin injection on the back of his neck, morning & afternoon. So that is a commitment that needs to be considered too.
He is a beautiful, Soft and gentle boy, anyone that took him into their own home, would fall in love with him. 😻

Say hello to Tully. Not very often we get the pleasure to care for a Sphynx. He is such a little cutie & a big sticky beak 🤣🤣
He likes to help me prepare dinner for all the other kitties and to let me know what he would like served up for his own dinner 😻😻
