Roxas and his humans 🐾

A tiny dog, with a huge heart, who has helped his humans through unimaginable loss.

The very thought of losing a doggo who means this much, feels unimaginable.
Unfortunately this is what Roxas' family is facing, as their beautiful boy has a palliative diagnosis.

Throughout Roxas' session, there was alot of laughter.
But underneath that, a quiet sadness.
Grieving a dog who is still earthside is the strangest feeling, and one many people will never quite understand.

For Roxas' family, the grief is heightened immensely, as this tiny guy has been such a strong link to a family member lost.

There are some sessions that stay in my heart.
This was one of them.

Leaning into everything I have learnt in the past 7 years on how to use the spaces I have in front of me definately paid off with this gorgeous spot!

We were so lucky the wattle was out earlier than usual, as it made the most glorious backdrop for this fabulous family 💫

Some very special memories captured, at a location that just so happened to be where Roxas 'mum and dad' got married many moons ago 😌

The most perfect day, with the best girlies 🐾

While not quiet everything went to plan (beautiful Ella was a little overwhelmed with so many people around), we captured these beautiful moments after the ceremony 💚

Huge shout out to Elisa from wedding chaperone!
Elisa (pictured in Image #5) was so brilliant with Ella and Pepper.

She thought of absolutely everything for the girls🐾 (a drink station, treats, snuffle mat in case they needed some time out).
Most importantly, she recognised when Ella had reached her threshold and managed the situation SO beautifully!

Elisa really put the comfort of the girls 🐾 above all else, meaning Ella was able to join in the festivities at her own pace, which shows through these images 💚
