What an absolutely incredible three days at the Abbey Medieval Festival! Our taxidermy stall was buzzing with excitement from the moment we opened, and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. The furs were flying off the table - literally! So many customers found the perfect pieces to complete their fantastic medieval and fantasy costumes. Our fur hats adorned with tails were a massive hit, and as always, the fox tail keychains were crowd favorites that had people coming back for more.
Day one started with a bang when our adorable pine marten was snapped up immediately, and throughout the weekend we watched our three foxes - the cross fox, red fox, and of course Larry - all find their perfect new homes for brand new adventures. The rabbit pelts and ducklings were absolutely huge sellers, and seeing customers' faces light up when they found exactly what they were looking for was pure magic.
Our soft mounted wolf left everyone in complete awe of its amazing size, while the cuddly lynx soft mount and big coyote soft mount drew crowds throughout all three days. The range of skulls and bones, curio jars, and display domes created such wonderful conversations about natural history and medieval life. It was incredible watching people connect with these pieces and find treasures that spoke to them.

Today we're packing down the tent and heading home, where we'll take a day or two to adjust back to modern life before beginning the mammoth task of stock taking and rebuilding our collection.
