Proud and honored to be a part of the thriving Rodeo Community within Tasmania 👇

Can you believe our total prize pool for our nine Tasmanian Rodeos totalled a staggering $160,963 for the 2024/2025 professional Rodeo season!

This incorporates $113,950 in prizemoney put up by our hard-working Rodeo Committees and our amazing, generous sponsors, plus $47,013 add back from entry fees!

It’s fair to say Rodeo is not an event for the faint hearted, and it can be expensive, but when you can take a portion of this type of prize pool home from local Tasmanian competition it puts a shine on your running costs.

We wouldn’t be able to put this post up without making special mention to a team of hard-working individuals who have played a significant role in this success.

ID Rodeo Promotions Tasmania have held 7 of the 9 Rodeos throughout Tasmania this season injecting a total of $116,643 into the state’s Rodeo economy. $83,300 in prize money plus $33,343 add back from entry fees, a magnificent feat.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking them, as well as our other Rodeo Committees, Gowrie Park Rodeo and Ulverstone Rodeo Committee for creating these opportunities for competitors as well as providing local communities with rural entertainment and supporting local charity organisations.

Don’t forget, a load of work goes on behind the scenes in running these events. If you haven’t yet volunteered to jump on board and help a committee out, then now is probably the time to give it a go.

If you would like to become involved in the wonderful world of Rodeo, we will be looking at holding some more introduction days around September, October and November prior to the start of our season. HARVEYDALE - $11,900 PM + $5,235 ADD BACK = $17,135 total prizemoney pay out

ULVERSTONE - $17,400 PM + $7,730 ADD BACK - $25,130 total prizemoney pay out

SCOTTSDALE - $11,900 PM + $4,738 ADD BACK - $16,638 total prizemoney pay out

LAUNCESTON - $11,900 PM + $5,020 ADD BACK - $16,920 total prizemoney pay out

Let’s all help fight MND 👊 Ulverstone Water Slide - 9 June

ITS BACK!!! ❄️

That’s right, the Big Freeze is coming back to the Ulverstone Waterslide.

The Central Coast Council, Ulverstone Football Club and Harcourts Ulverstone and Penguin are teaming up again to bring you the BIG FREEZE 3 in an attempt to raise vital funds for The Fight MND foundation.

The last two years have been a blast, the whole North West Coast has gotten involved to make this day super fun and special for a great cause.

Now we have heard the feedback over the last two years and with the support of the Central Coast Council we are working on a plan to ensure everyone who attends will have the best seats in the house to watch the sliders take the plunge.

One last thing, we need your help on nominating our sliders, we are looking for sporting icons, politicians, business owners (maybe your boss 😁), first responders, tradies, and everyone in between.
