Wirraway Park Krystal went to her first show today. She was such a good girl, winning her Novice and Open Led Mares and doing The Guy Fawkes Heritage Horses proud. Thank you to all the judges and everyone at the Buckskin State Titles.

NATIONAL HERITAGE BRUMBY DAY - 30th November.

Today I join the Australian Brumby Alliance in respecting the inaugural National Heritage Brumby Day. On the 30th of November each year, we will recognise the cultural and historical significance of our Snowy brumbies. We will celebrate the uniqueness of our brumbies who are descended from horses who helped shape our high country 200 years ago, and who share ancestry with the Australian Light Horse.

This year we also remember and mourn the thousands of heritage brumby foals, mares and stallions slaughtered by the NSW Government under their aerial culling program, based on false numbers and a campaign of hate and misinformation.

It’s taken time forme to write this post. Two weeks ago my beautiful Manobier Golfen Charm lost her battle with HornersSyndrome . My Golden Girl was so special to so many not just me. Beautiful dressage and show pony with so many highlights, and wonderful memories
She is burrowed next to her best friend and now Poet is joining them. Rest in piece. And may you gallop around the bush together. Is been a tough fortnight ❤️🐴❤️🐴

Thank you to Tash for looking after him over the past years. Many beautiful memories. Rest in peace my amazing boy ❤️🐴

Mel did a great job with Guy Fawkes Pandora with 4th in the open led, winning led female Brumby and Res Champion snd winning the ridden Brumby Well done
