Cannibal Creek Equine are excited to now be offering veterinary dentals!!

Dental health is something we are very passionate about, and for good reason.
Regular and routine veterinary dental examinations offer the opportunity to improve your horses comfort, increase the efficiency of chewing and digestion and prevent disease.

In addition to stand alone dentals, we are offering two packages:

🐎 Performance Horse Package: 🐎
Perfect for coming out of winter and preparing in the best way for the competition season ahead!
- General health check 🩺
- Dental examination and floating
- Radiographs of front and hind hooves for foot balance measurements for your farrier

🐴 Cushings Yearly Package: 🐴
Perfect for horses and ponies either previously diagnosed with cushings or that you suspect may have cushings. This consultation will then allow repeat cushings medications throughout the following 12 months.
- General health check 🩺
- Dental examination and floating
- Endogenous ACTH blood test to check your horses levels

Cannibal Creek Equine are very excited to introduce you to our new vet, Dr Carly!

Carly has been obsessed with horses since she was 5 years old. She originally dreamed of winning a gold medal for Australia in eventing, but was forced to re-consider her career choices when she realised she was too scared to jump higher than a cavalletti. Instead she decided to become a horse vet, graduating from Melbourne University in 2022. Carly has since completed a rotating internship at South Eastern Equine Hospital where she learned from specialists in equine medicine and surgery, and discovered her love for emergency care.

Carly has an off the track thoroughbred called Benji, a sweet golden retriever called Nala and a menace kitten called Dennis. She is excited to meet our clients and their horses, and adjust to life as an on the road vet!

Welcome to the team, Dr Carly!!! 😁🤝🐴
