Well, that was an eventful morning! One of the pups from the Meri/Bjorn litter is starting his journey to his new home in NZ today, and he needed to be at the airport by 5.40am for his flight (groan). So, last night I bathed and brushed him and made sure that he was looking his best, went to bed earlyish and set the alarm for 4.20am. So far so good, but you know what they say about the best laid plans.......
At 3.10am I was rudely awoken by one of the dogs demanding to be let out, I apparently didn't hear her the first time because she started yowling right next to my ear! In her defense it must have been urgent because she shot out of the door when I opened it.
Things just went downhill from there.
By the time she was ready to come back inside I had discovered that it was 2 degrees outside, the beautifully clean and groomed puppy had decided to p**p in his crate and then sit in it, and by now all of the other dogs wanted out too.
Got the pup cleaned up and took him outside in case he needed to go again, looked at the clock (it was 4am) decided that it wasn't worth going back to bed so made a coffee. Put it down on the coffee table and puppy promptly knocked it over. Luckily it missed him in his freshly cleaned state. At 4.30 I decided that I had better get puppy in the car as it is about 45min to the airport and if traffic is heavy, it can take longer. Got him in the car, grab my keys and jump in the car, it won't start!!! Grabbed the battery pack, attatched clamps, it still won't start. After several attempts and growing more panicked by the minute, I eventually woke my son. He crawled out of bed (I am sure that I could hear some muttered curse words but I chose to ignore them), thanks to Andrew we eventually got the car started at 5.20 am and I then made a dash for the airport to try and make it before cut off time for the flight. I made record time arriving about 20min late. Thankfully the staff at the airport were lovely and everything went smoothly from there. I hope the rest of his journey is trouble free.
I need a lie down!

Recently, I was pleased to receive yet another breeder's certificate in the mail, this one for a rally title. Ublong dogs have been doing very well in several of the obedience/working fields and I couldn't be prouder of these dogs and their dedicated owners.
I am now in the planning stages for the next couple of litters, and at this stage I am looking for serious expressions of interest for puppies that will be suitable for all dog sports.

The planned pairings are:
1. White Dream Team Zia Baby Baxa X Magician Von Olaf Weise

2. Ublong Indira X White Dream Team Majestique Malo

Both of these combinations have the potential to produce dogs that will be capable of holding their own in any discipline, whilst still being fantastic family pets.

Litter one is being planned for late 2025/ early 2026, litter 2 later in 2026.

Last night we had a party! A 💩 party! It was fun and we are tired, think we will have a sleep while the human cleans up the mess.

Pups are 3 weeks old now, they have started investigating what goes in the food dish (I think someone dived in head first) and they eat a surprising amount between the 10 of them. Mum always appreciates the leftovers too.

As with many breeders, I have reduced the number of litters bred over the last few years. As a result, I have decided to offer a few of
my dogs to suitable forever homes.
Currently available are a 5-year-old male and a 3-year-old female.

Finn is a beautiful natured boy; he is very cuddly and loves as many pats as he can con from you. He could live as an only dog or with a female dog but not another male. He is good on the lead, not reactive to other dogs or people when out and about, and is relaxed in most situations. He is house trained, crate trained, travels well in the car and is up to date with vaccinations and worming. He has recently been desexed.
Frannie is a beautiful, active, fun-loving girl who loves her squeaky toys and could live as an only dog or with others. She is house and crate trained and up to date with vaccinations and worming, also recently desexed. She is good on the lead and quickly adapts to new situations.
Neither of these dogs have been around small children, cats or pocket pets.

Early morning vet visit today to check if Meri is in pup, AND YES SHE IS!!! White Dream Team Meri-Lu confirmed in pup to EW'19, C.I.B, JCH, MCH, GCH, BIS, BISS CH, MCW Bjorn Bako Lord of North. We didn't get a count because she was wriggling too much but there were multiple pups on screen wherever we looked.
Very excited for this litter.

The very beautiful White Dream Team Meri-Lu has come into season and is to be bred to Bjorn Bako Lord of North (frozen semen). At this stage I expect that puppies should arrive around the middle of March.
This is the last of the frozen semen that I have from Bjorn, so it has been saved for a very special girl. Fingers (and everything else) crossed for a successful pregnancy and an outstanding litter.
