THIS IS IT! Our last 4 days at the Tweed Heads South store!! We will be open as normal, 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday. CLOSED from Saturday, for good.

A few things:

We expect stock to run low this week, as we are now working between the store and home, selling excess freezers and moving freezers to home, so freezer space is limited at the moment. Get in as soon as you can to stock up so you don't miss out. You can order online and pick up later in the week if you can't get in earlier (www.thecuriousdog.online).

After Friday, you will have to put your order through using our 'old' website - www.thecuriousdog.online, and we will let you know when it will be available for collection; or contact me to check stock availability and put an order in over the phone.

We expect to be operating in our new location as normal from July with raw food and dehydrated treats, however the next few weeks will see disruption to supply and availability as we finalise our tenancy in Tweed and get our new set-up operational, ahead of the new financial year.

Thank you for being our wonderful customers for the past 6 years at Tweed, and for those long termers - nearly 4 years before that, where we started in our home garage and doing home delivery in Kelly's car. This is not the end of us, it's just the next chapter. Same name, same hand-picked products, same professional advice.

We have 3 x 12kg cartons of Canine Country Plain Beef Mince that we'd like to clear from our freezers today (Friday) or tomorrow (Saturday).

Normally $9.50 per kg, we're selling whole cartons (12kg) for $95 each. Price only applies to bulk purchase of 12kg (no splits).

Hate that "what's for dinner?" question.... so do we! Luckily we are fully stocked with options for dogs and cats - including Raw 4 Paws - complete meals, ready to go.

Into Loving Homes is a not for profit foundation that helps people to rehome their animals without the shelter or foster care process. The idea is to keep the animal with their family, until a suitable new family is found.

Consider making a donation, big or small, to help their foundation continue helping pet families and their animals, who are already going through a difficult and emotional time.

Nugget is here to ask if you would please nominate in the comments below a dog rescue group that you would like me to donate some left over items to, once I close the shop.

Naturally, because I'm surrounded by rehomed Cavaliers, I will first be offering and donating some items to my favourite rescue group Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Queensland.

After that, there will be XL Dog Copenhagen and Bainbridge harnesses, some leads for larger dogs, collars for small to large dogs, some step in harnesses for small dogs, a couple of large Dripfeed treat toys (designed for horses, but also really good for dogs!) and possibly a couple of slow feeders.

If you can tag a direct contact from your nominated rescue group, please do so, and I'll try to get in touch with them to see what they need/want. I hate to see brand new products not being used, and I don't want to store any more dog stuff at home 😂

Making a quick Toppl for brekky. I typically like to pad these out with some Greek yoghurt or cottage cheese, fresh mushed blueberries, some more meat and a furry kangaroo ear, but we don't have time this morning, so quick and easy it is!
