Best of luck to Thomas Hinman and OB CONMOON REYN (Conmoon x Johill Storm Girl) in the 2026 Curley Cattle Transport Classic Stockman's Challenge Final today 💥

OB CONMOON REYN was bred by Tim and Jo O'Brien at OB Performance Horses. Lachlan Sim then took the reins and sold her through the 2026 Nutrien Classic Sale for $45,000. Since then Thomas and OB Conmoon Reyn have competed in the 2026 NCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity and have now turned their hand to challenging. A great mare showing incredible versatility.

🐴 TIM O’BRIEN COWHORSE CLINIC 🐴

The VRCHA is excited to welcome Tim O’Brien for a two-day Cowhorse Clinic on 29 & 30 August 2026.

📍 Venue: ###X Ranch

Saturday: Reining manoeuvres and positioning on a cow (limited to 10 riders).

Sunday: Practice show runs with critique from Tim (limited to 20 riders).

Tim is an Accredited USA NRCHA Judge, the 2024 NRCHAA Open Spectacular Open & Limited Open Cowhorse Rider of the Year, and a winner of multiple reining, Stockman Challenge and Campdraft events.

Nominations will open tomorrow, with a separate post containing all the booking details.

It was so awesome to see our homebred mare OB CONMOON REYN & Thomas Hinman have such an incredible Round 2 in the NCHA Australia Snafflebit Cutting Futurity. Just missing the Finals but a massive effort to land where they did.
This is the best part of breeding horses for OB Performance Horses: watching beautiful foals develop into incredible horses.

And what an incredible job Lachie Sim has done starting this awesome mare, giving her the foundation she has.

OB Performance Horses are so excited to see our Stud ONE MOORE SANNMAN's first crop of foals now out showing and successfully competing. This is the exciting part of breeding horses for us: not only are they beautiful they are also incredibly talented.
OB MOORE SANNMAN REYN is o/o JOHILL STORM GIRL one of our exceptional Broodmares that is breeding some very exciting progeny.
On paper both OB MOORE SANNMAN REYN & TWIST OF SANDMAN are Cutting/ Cowhorse bred but the strength of their versatility and trainability is on display also in the Reining arena.
A true testament to ONE MOORE SANNMAN as a versatile Sire. We can't wait to see the future for his babies.

A huge congratulation to Maddy Dalziel and OB MOORE SANNMAN REYN aka Nugget on their incredible success at the recent Goulburn Valley Reining Horse Association Water Wheel Classic, taking out

A huge shoutout to Steph Dunnachie & Mitch Dunnachie of Lancefield Bloodstock for their incredible mentoring and training of Maddie and Nugget.

It was also incredibly exciting to see Bandora Performance Horsemanship - Adrian Ireland and TWIST OF SANDMAN having some awesome runs with very limited training time. A very bright future for this horse owned by Robert Leak.
