Well, I gave it a go but at this time I’m closing business.

Due to multiple health reasons within my home and financial viability of the business, I’ve made the decision that is best for my family at this time.

I probably shouldn’t elaborate but I am all about transparency for the sake of clarity.

I have a multi pet home of seniors that are not coping with a home salon, one of which protested in a very costly vet visit. I’m also still trying to eliminate a flea infestation that has ultimately stretched funds to breaking point.

I’ve also made the decision to start preparations to homeschool my child with learning disabilities and will have to reduce other activities as a result.

For myself, I will be going back to academia to hopefully retain years of dedication in my field of expertise in the grooming industry by attaining credentials to provide certified training and assessment to those interested in entering the industry.

I want to thank everyone who found my service and trusted me to provide a safe and caring environment for your furry kids.

Hello everyone.
As you all know, my salon is operated from my home and I too have fur babies of my own.

Due to major health changes in my much older pack member of 15 years, I am no longer able to service dogs that vocalise a high pitch bark/scream. Please see link if interested.

This particular sound among others, triggers an intense seizure that causes him to crocodile death roll uncontrollably and if I’m unable to come to his aid in time he may dangerously fall and injure himself, or worse - a risk I’m unwilling to take!

I will reach out to clients as soon as possible to provide sufficient time to resource an alternative service going forward. I appreciate your patronage and thank you for trusting me with your furry family members.

Being a professional doesn’t always mean you can do everything; sometimes, being a professional means making the hard decision to say that you can’t….
Being a 1:1 groomer doesn’t always work best for your pet.
This is Mick and he is a very sweet boy however, for him to be groomed safely and to a standard he requires multiple groomers to get him through certain parts of his groom.
Despite every trick and tool in my arsenal, he was sent home mostly finished due to risk.
Being a professional sometimes means knowing when to stop!
We had a cuddle, it was rough on both of us 🐾

Princess… she loves to “sing”
She’s compiled all her favourite songs into one album; classics such as, “don’t touch my right front leg”, “oh no, the water is wet” and “I don’t wanna go in the crate”. 😂

The break is over and what a better way to be back than with a big explosion of new and fabulous products to use on your hairy little mates!

This is Dolly! Dolly acts like a cut snake for her nails. She will try everything to get me to stop doing her nails and I will do everything to get them done!
Some people might think it’s not nice to make a dog do something they don’t want to do but the consequences of not doing what is necessary is a far worse outcome!
A five minute wrestling match or toenails that will eventually grow into the paw pad - ding ding ding, round one! 😂
