This week we say goodbye to another of our Amazing vet team.

Dr Abbie came to us 4.5yrs ago as a new graduate & was thrown straight in the deep end.
In a sink or swim industry she swam and has been doing so ever since.
She started as a quiet and shy vet and grew to a super confident vet.
We have enjoyed working with her over the years and wish her all the best in her new endeavours at a clinic in Melbourne.
The new clinic is lucky to have you, Thank you for everything πŸ™ ❀️

Saturday 26th April was world veterinary day.
We would like to tell our Amazing vets how much we appreciate all the hard work they do.

Not one day in the clinic is the same as the last, from consultations to surgeries.
Blood work, xrays and dentals, vaccines, calvings, all animals large and small 😊

Everyone loves what they do each day, although the veterinary profession can be tough.
With long hours and high stress situations, burnout and compassion fatigue can really take a toll on them all.
We see so much of this in the industry and try our best to work along side our vets to make their days run as smoothly as possible.

We appreciate you all more than you could ever know!
Keep doing what you do, not all heroes wear capes. Some wear scrubs πŸ§‘β€βš•οΈπŸ‘©β€βš•οΈπŸ©Ί
Thank you β€οΈπŸˆπŸ•πŸ„πŸŽπŸ‡πŸ“

Last week Dr Katrin & Nurse Leia helped Honey the chicken.
Honey came in with a blocked crop which was very uncomfortable for her.
Blocked crops can occur when foreign objects or food become lodged in the crop, a pouch in the oesophagus that stores food temporarily.
The blockage prevents food from passing through to digestion which can cause health problems.
Luckily for Honey the girls were able to flush the crop and bring her back to full health.
Her family were so thankful they sent in a beautiful card & care package β€οΈπŸ“ Thank you.
