🐾 **Dog school Training** 🐾

Our Dog School is about building the foundations that help dogs and handlers succeed, whether your goal is a well-mannered family companion or a future in dog sports.

Through fun, engaging, and supportive training, we help teams develop confidence, communication, focus, and real-life skills. We teach handlers how to effectively guide and manoeuvre their dogs through everyday challenges while building a strong partnership based on trust and teamwork.

The skills developed in Dog School go far beyond the training field. We focus on creating dogs that can be calm and confident in everyday situations, including:
🐶 Walking politely on lead
🐶 Settling around distractions
🐶 Building confidence in new environments
🐶 Learning to work with their handler through challenges
🐶 Developing good manners both at home and out in the community

These foundation skills not only help create enjoyable companions but also provide the building blocks for a range of dog sports, including:
✨ Tricks
✨ Rally
✨ Obedience
✨ Agility
✨ Dance With Your Dog

Most importantly, we're building confident dogs, confident handlers, and a supportive community where everyone can learn and grow together.

Take a look at our Level 2 teams in action! These dogs and handlers are continuing to build on their foundation skills while having fun, developing life skills, and strengthening their partnership every step of the way. 🥰🐾

Only a few days to go for our first SprintdogTM Trial and we are beyond excited!

For those that would like to come and see what this is all about: The event takes place Saturday the 8th starting at 16:00 and Sunday the 9th at 07:00 at Heatley Park 🐕
There will even be a coffee van on Sunday morning ☕

Our favourite thing in the world is watching our dogs have a great time, and they clearly love to run towards their favourite toy or human (which can be the same thing ;) )

If you would like to come and watch, we just ask that you leave your own dog at home so not to distract our competitors.

We are looking forward to an amazing weekend and hope to see many of you there!

Last day to sign up for our Multisport Trial weekend on the 31st of July & the 1st of August!

* You do need to be a Dogs Australia/Queensland member to be able to compete.

If you have always wanted to know what the world of Dog sport is all about, feel free to come by Friday or Saturday night and come see for yourself, however please leave your own dog at home. We are always happy to answer any questions and get your started on your own competition journey! 🏆

Important announcement for our Dog School Training 📢

Apologies for the inconvenience, but due to unforeseen events, we have to reschedule our INTRO NIGHT from tonight to next week. To ensure you do not miss out on any training time, we will be running the course for an extra week.

New Schedule details:

- Intro Night: Tuesday 21 July at 7pm

- Final Session: Tuesday 25 August 7pm

Again, we sincerely apologise for the late notice, but we could not foresee the events that have occurred.
