Hope the start of 2026 has been going well for all our wonderful clients and followers ☺️

We wanted to let everyone know about some dates we need to black out coming up in the next few months.

Febuary 26th to March the 13th due to myself (Ashley) having a major surgery done and will need 2 weeks minimum for recovery on strick rest we are only able to offer very limited once daily visits as Kiarne will be helping cover all needed visits during this period however can only do afternoon visits due to her work start time

We also need to block out dates from Easter Monday 6th April til 13th of april due to interstate travel ourselves for a family..

We can still help cover Good friday to Easter sunday if needed 🌻

We appreciate your understanding during these periods and trying to provide as much notice as possible to avoid any disappointment

As the weather starts heating up in Townsville, it’s not just you feeling the burn, our furry friends do too! 🔥🐶

If you’re planning a walk, whether it’s around the neighbourhood, up Castle Hill, Mt Louisa, along The Strand, or Pallarenda, make sure to think about what time of day you’re heading out.

🌡️ Hot tip🌡️
If you can’t comfortably hold the back of your hand on the road for 5 seconds, it’s too hot for your pet’s paws.
Bitumen, concrete, and sand can reach scorching temperatures, leading to painful burns and blisters on paw pads.

🕗 Smart Summer Walking Tips:
🐾 Go early morning or later in the evening, when the ground is cooler.
💧 Always carry water for both you and your pet - dehydration can sneak up fast.
🌳 Stick to grassy, shaded routes where possible.
🚶 Keep walks shorter and watch for signs of overheating. Heavy panting, drooling, slowing down, or seeking shade.
🏖️ Avoid hot bitumen, sand, and metal ute trays.

A little planning goes a long way in keeping your pet happy and healthy during the warmer months.
Townsville summers can be harsh, but with smart choices, you and your best mate can still enjoy those beautiful morning adventures together. ❤️

Winnie has just been FOUND by another Fur Mum family member whose pug goes to daycare on the same day! How amazing is that?!

We’re so happy for Winnie and her family—Thank you to everyone who kept an eye out & shared our post!!

Happy Sunday afternoon 🌻✨️ hope everyone has had a lovely weekend so far.

We just wanted to pop on and quickly let everyone know some upcoming dates we are taking a little RnR and getting away for some holidays and will be unavailable.
