I was born in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and grew up working with animals. Living in a country that was not very tolerant of animals, particularly dogs, left me and my family being treated poorly at times. Despite the negative feelings felt towards me and my family, we always cared and nutured the animals that came into our home. I came to Australia in 2005, where I studied a BA in International Business. To

help with my expenses, I would walk people's dogs in Hawthorn. Fortunately, given my caring nature and my instance attachment to people's dogs, I developed enough clientele to help me get by. Due to the cost of living in Australia, Melbourne, I was unable to get my own dogs as I was living in an apartment. Instead, I voluntered my time to various rescue organisations where I helped foster dogs for short periods. To this day, I continue to provide my services to rescue organisations to help animals that are abused and neglected. After settling in Australia and found myself in better living arrangements, I was lucky enough to have Odis and Layla, who are now my best friends. They have learned to respect my rules, my house, my friends and my children. In addition, I can confidently take my dogs offlead to public settings without any concern. Unfortunatelely, these positive behaviours do not come easily. I see time and time again where people buy dogs, and then they rehome them or surrender them to the pounds because they are either aggressive, or out of control. It makes me extremley upset as you adopt/buy a puppy, it is a life commitment. Humans(the pack leader) need to ensure they are using proven systems to enable your pups eventuate into good K9 citizens. Furthermore, discipline, consistency and exercise are all important elements of having a well behaved dog. Over the years, I have developed my skills where I am able to help others train their dogs so they can take their dogs to public settings without having their dogs out of control. In addition, I have always preached the need to have well behaved dogs, so they respect your home, your kids, your partners, and your guests. I practice what I preach, therefore, my dogs are the perfect example of what is possible with hard work. There are many methods of training techniques out in the modern world, and I respect them all. However, in my humble opinion, I believe my training style gives quick results as long as YOU put in the work.

• I've been off my page for quite a while as a lot has happened since the beginning of this year and I couldn't get myself to post anything.

My beautiful man, my shadow, my son's best friend Odess ( Papillon 10 years old) passed away (7 months tomorrow) while we were away in Melbourne for my sister's wedding. We had a pet sitter looking after them but I also had my friend come in to check on them so they had a familiar face visit them too.

On what would have been the second last visit she noticed our man not breathing too well and decided to take him to the vets. Upon arrival, they decided he was really unwell and asked her to get in touch with us. Unfortunately, we were at the wedding when it happened and couldn't answer the phone in time and when I returned the call they had already put him to sleep.

It was very traumatic for us especially my son as we came back home to a home without him. We miss him every single day but feel his presence all around us.

Rest in peace my little man and keep looking out for us from above. Thank you for choosing to me part of our family. We love you heaps •

• I had my 2nd session with Nala (12 week old pup) and her brother Hulk (18 month old Saint Bernard) yesterday. She didn't want to do learn too much yesterday as she got quite distracted by her brother and Layla wandering around in front of her. Although, when we did practise the lessons she learnt last week it came to her easily.

We also decided to do a little refresher with Hulk so Nala can see her big brother is doing it as well. Hulk needed a little bit more of an encouragement to remember so we showered him lots of pats and positive reinforcements 😁

Keep it up fam 🐕👍 •

• Happy New Year everyone! My page has been pretty bare as I took a long and much needed break with the fam. I hope everyone else was able to unwind during the Christmas break and start fresh in the new year.

However, I'm back and I'm kicking it off by introducing Nala (10 weeks old German Shepherd) who had her first session with Layla and I today. She was an absolute star! It didn't take her long and was showing off her skills to her big brother Hulk.

I cannot wait to teach her some more exercises next week and see her grow up. Keep it up fam 🙏🙏 •

• Meelo ( 8 years old Chihuahua ) has been staying with us for a few days while his parents are due to give birth to his human sibling. He's completely settled with us as he's been visiting us for the last 2 and half years and also gets excited now to see us. As you can see all the doggos are in cbf mode while I try and take a picture of them looking at the camera. Alas, this will do 😁😁❤ •

• I had my 3rd training session with Lexi (6 year old Maltese x Maremma) who is still learning to be a little less guarded around other dogs when they come close to her hoomans. Lexi does sometimes gets nervous and unsure in certain moments but her hoomans are there to reinforce that they have everything under control and she doesn't need to react.

Lexi gets really anxious when her hoomans have to leave to work, so, we've put some exercises in play and hopefully over time, patience and consistency she'll learn to self relax and calm down over time.

But apart from that Lexi is a great little dog who loves to learn new exercises with her hoomans. Keep it up guys 👍🏽🐕 •

• I had my first session with the magnificent Vader (18 months old Rottweiler). He is about 50kgs (and still growing) of pure muscle and his paws were the size of my palms, so, when you have a dog this of size jumping up on you although playfully isn't fun.

He's a typical dog who doesn't know his size and the boundaries haven't been made clear, so, he has gotten away with a few bad habits.

My main purpose is to give his humans the tools to be able to manage this boy on walks as Vader can be very strong on the lead and also teaching him some manners around the house. For example, not jumping on the kids and the adults, No nipping or play biting and most importantly being calm around the kids.

We definitely have our work cut out for us with Vader but his hoomans are ready to put the work in. Looking forward to seeing this beautiful beast next week • 🐕👍🏽

• This was my last session with the handsome Mr. Beau. He did so great learning the kitchen boundary that we chuck a party for him and fed him his favourite treat outside the kitchen.

He's improved so much since our first session it was truly great to watch his progress. I can't commend his hoomans enough for sticking to the training and being consistent with him.

Keep it up guys and look forward to seeing him progress 🐕😁🙏🏼 •

• Pawsitive Hq Crew welcomes another member into their training squad. Beautiful Lexi (6 years old Maremma × Maltese Sh*tzu) who had recently started barking a lot more than she usually used to over the years. She's also a little bit nervous and unsure around other dogs.

Last week she was not sure of Layla hanging around her hoomans and had a few barks at Layla. It was also her first time having another dog in her yard which was a new experience. Although, she started to use her nose and take in Layla's calm energy and started to follow her a little bit in the backyard which was great to see.

Towards the end we worked on some obedience exercises and what I discovered was Lexi loves to learn new things and even though this exercise was a bit tricky as she had to concentrate just on her hoomans tones rather than treats or hand signals but she got there in the end and also got a treat which were pats and cuddles and also a delicious treat so she was very happy.

Layla and I are looking forward to our next session tomorrow 🙏🏼👍🏽😁 •

• Sunday Pack Walk was a complete hit. All the dogs behaved extremely well walking alongside each other. A lot of them were meeting for the first time. There were dogs who weren't good with small dogs, who were unsure of dogs in general but they all soaked up each other and their hoomans calm energy which was great to see.

We also stopped by the cafe and had ourselves a cool drink while the dogs could experience an outing amongst other humans and dogs they are unfamiliar with.

As it got a bit hot on our walk towards the end and since we are by the beach. I decided to lead the dogs into the water to cool down and boy were they glad 🥵🐕😁

The pack walk has been requested it be a monthly event which is exactly what I'll do. So, thank you everyone who made it to the Sunday Pack Walk and for everyone who couldn't make it I will see y'all at the next one 😁🐕👍🏽 •
