This week was our last week for our Physical Townsville stables. It has become too busy at work running two businesses, the local Townsville Stables and my Solar & Battery Business ( Horan & Bird Solar) 7 days a week.

Especially since the Government Announcement of the huge rebates for home batteries.

Ares Racing will still continue to operate, in both North Qld and in Toowoomba. However we will now operate with two horse Trainers with Lindsay Hatch training our horses in South East Qld and now Tom Button training our NQ horses.

Lindsay Hatch will still continue to bring our horses up to North Queensland for the Winter Carnivals.

It has been such an exciting three years with the Townsville Hatch team with feature wins such as the Townsville Lightning with Russian Mint and Cairns Amateurs with Sayl for Gary.

Will never forget last year’s Townsville Cup Day with winning four races in a row!

A big thank you to Lindsay & Tracey Hatch along with Marty and Lorre for the last three years in Townsville. However we still very much look forward to more winners in Toowoomba with the team.

Also a big welcome to the team Tom Button.
