🐴 Job Vacancy: Stable Hand / Agistment Property Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking team member to join our friendly horse agistment property.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and around horses, and who takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-run property.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Feeding horses (morning and/or afternoon shifts)
Rugging and unrugging horses according to weather conditions
Cleaning paddocks and general manure removal
Raking and maintaining the arena surface
General property upkeep and stable duties
✅ About You:
Confident and experienced handling horses
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Good attention to detail
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Previous stable or farm experience preferred

* Plenty of grass, private paddocks, excellent fencing (post and rail with electric) automatic waterers to every paddock.
* Option of paddocks without shelter, with shelter or walk in, walk out stable.
* DIY, Part Care, Full Care, Rehabilitation or Short/Holiday stays most welcome.
* Prices start @ $65 per horse, per week for DIY.
* Use of all facilities included. 50m x 30m arena, roundyard, washbays, tie ups, day yards.
* Overnight stabling available.
* Float storage.

Long term, short term, DIY, Part Care, Full Care and Holiday Stays all welcome.
Private paddocks (rotated and with w**d control) excellent fencing, sheltered paddock options, automatic water troughs in all paddocks.
Use of all facilities: 50m x 30m arena, roundyard, washbays, horse walker, tie ups, stables/yards (charges may apply) day yards. Float parking also available.
Prices start at $65 per week, per horse.
Horses must be checked daily.

Spring is in the air!
It was a rugs off day yesterday for everyone at Tower Hill Lodge. The horses all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and made the most of having the sun on their backs.
Like everyone we had a long hard summer but rest assured the grass is now growing and the horses in our care have never gone without.
We now have room for Full Care Agistment horses, specialising in Racehorse agistment but also rehabilitation, building of topline (we are a licenced pre trainer that offer dressage work. Check out some of our before and after pics) box rest and treaments (having access to the expertise of my partner Dr Michael Wraight from South West Equine) we are also happy to accomodate short stays and holiday stays where you can go away and know your horse will have the best of care.
Our paddocks are private unless otherwise arranged. This minimises the risk of injury and we can also feed out specially tailored feeds to your horses needs (yours or ours) plus hay twice a day. All of our horses are thoroughly checked over when fed and any issues seen to promptly.

Tower Hill Lodge are on the lookout.
A full time position awaits an enthusiastic and energetic person who loves getting in and getting the work done. We need someone who can work alone as well as alongside others and is a true team player.
We are an evergrowing pre training and agistment property and require a dedicated person who doesn’t mind a little bit of hard work.
You may be required but not limited to muck out stables, hose, saddle, rug and feed horses. Lunge, use a horse walker, treadmill and if capable, ride horses at various stages of their pre training.
Some horse experience is necessary.
We start work at 6am - 11.30am 6 days a week. 2 afternoon shifts
3pm - 5.30pm.
Very competitive pay rate.
