Here are some interesting snake facts for you:

1. Snakes don't have eyelids, so they can't blink or close their eyes. Instead, they have a transparent scale covering their eyes to protect them.
2. Some snakes can go months without eating. For example, the King Cobra can survive up to several months without a meal.
3. Snakes use their tongues to smell the air. They have a specialized organ called the Jacobson's organ in the roof of their mouths that helps them "taste" the air and detect scents.
4. Snakes can dislocate their jaws to swallow prey much larger than their heads. Their flexible jaw structure allows them to consume large meals.
5. Not all snakes lay eggs; some give birth to live young. These snakes are known as viviparous, and examples include boa constrictors and rattlesnakes.
