When your kids bring home ANOTHER pet... 😅

A customer raced into Aquabird this week after their daughter brought home a praying mantis and announced it was here to stay.

Suddenly they needed somewhere to keep it, something for it to climb on, and of course... food.

We helped them get started with:
- Small crickets for food
- Coco coir substrate
- Sphagnum moss for humidity
- A simple enclosure setup

And just like that, the family's newest pet was officially moved in.

We love these kinds of moments because every animal journey starts somewhere. Sometimes it's a puppy, sometimes it's a goldfish...
..and sometimes it's a praying mantis that appeared out of nowhere.

What is your biggest eye-roll pet moment?

I swear, we can give these rats multiple hides, tunnels and enrichment.

They literally have an entire enclosure to explore.

And yet... they've all decided that piling into the same tiny corner is clearly the best option 😅

Rat owners will understand.

No matter how much space you give them, they somehow end up sleeping in one giant furry rat pile like they're trying to break a world record for "most rats crammed into one spot."
