Mature Aged Cattery Assistant Needed - limited hours. IMMEDIATE START
We are seeking an experienced Cattery Assistant to work on a sub-contract basis for us. You must have an ABN or be prepared to get one.
Shifts available, commencing 7am, on a needs basis but usually 2 shifts per week for 2-3 hours. Additional shifts can be required for up to 2 weeks at a time on occasions. Must be available to work Saturdays and one week day as negotiated. Must be available also to do some Sundays as well when required. Looking for someone with the view to a long term arrangement.
SKILLS: The successful applicant MUST be experienced in providing quality feline care which will include cleaning their pens, trays and cattery generally, feeding, administering medications which can include injections and tablets. Admin duties such as booking cats in and out of the cattery and taking payments using the Square terminal will also be required.
The ideal applicant will be mature aged, fit, have their own car, live locally in the western Toowoomba area and be keen to spend quality time with beautiful kittens and cats. The work is not hard but it does require a measure of fitness which will enable you to bend, lift etc as required. You will be methodical, careful and thorough in everything that you do. You must be able to complete tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner.
