UPDATE: Solomon has now been sold and is settling in well to his new home.

Currently available 100% ND Ivydale Solomon. Sire: First Fleet Moondance, dam Ivydale Saffron, DOB 10 Sept 2023. Solomon is easy to catch and handle and would be an asset to anyone looking to upgrade their does. Herd tested clear of CAE and Johnes and Solomon is clear of myotonia. UPDATE: All these youngsters have now been sold except for one doe, Cleo.

We have some 100% Nigerian Dwarf youngsters available. Vaccinated, registered with DGSA, herd is health tested for Johnes and CAE. All quiet and very healthy. Situated near Toowoomba. Happy to provide further information and photos.

Had a lovely day at the first show of the season - Allora - on Saturday. Thanks to Elizabeth Rowe for organising the show. I had to go show the dogs so left Greg with the goats and he did so well with the following results:

We have a number of 100% ND wethers, does and bucklings available, some withblue eyes. Our stud was tested in January 2023 for Johnes and CAE, all kids are vaccinated and DNA tested for parentage and myotonia. All kids registered with DGSA. We are concentrating on milk production, udder attachment and teat placements in our does and it is paying off 🙂 with great results in the dairy goat show ring!

All happening at Ivydale in the past couple of weeks. Bluebell started by kidding quadruplets on 5th September. All doing really well. Cinnamon kidded 3 bucklings on 9th September, followed by the next day by Cassia who had triplets but unfortunately she lost one and then in the afternoon, Saffron kidded 5!! Unfortunatley the first little buckling did not survive for long but the other 4 are thriving. We were so lucky as her delivery coincided with a social visit from our vet so he assisted her with a safe delivery.
Three days later Henrietta joined the nursery and delivered 4 healthy kids on 13th. We now have bucklings and doelings available, some with gorgeous blue eyes, and they can be bottle reared if need be.

Blessed to welcome to the world not one but two blue eyed bucklings!! Both sired by our First Fleet Elliot who is the only 100% ND blue eyed buck in Australia - or he was until now that he has two sons!! We will be keeping one but will regretfully offer the other for sale.

A successful day for us with First Fleet Ivydale Saffron awarded Supreme Exhibit at Kalbar Show. Ivydale Cassia was second in her class and Ivydale China Doll was Reserve Champion. First Fleet Carmen was 1st Place Doe's Progeny Class with Saffron and Cassia. Very happy with the quality of these youngsters.
