As you can tell she wasn’t impressed with having her nails trimmed but despite her grumpy face she’s still a model patient 💜

Came to visit the team at Greencross Chatswood because he had some itchy ears. It is common for puppies to get ear mites so Dr Daniel had a look under the microscope to see if he could locate any of the pesky critters.

He was given a clean bill of health and lots of cuddles and treats from all of the Nurses!

Lovely before and after!

Professional scaling and polishing was performed on Ruffles at our Ferntree Gully clinic to get her back to her best self.

Under a general anaesthesia scaling can be done below and above the gum line. Radiographs are also performed to easily identify diseased tooth roots.

Making a difference beyond our clinic walls 💚🌏

We’re incredibly proud to support the amazing work of Vets Beyond Borders in delivering vital veterinary care to communities in Vanuatu, thanks to the support of the Petbarn Foundation.

In April, a dedicated volunteer team including Dr Candice Priest from Greencross Vets Macedon Ranges, alongside vet nurses Veronika Vidlishka (Greencross Moorooka) and Jessica Torrielli (Greencross Jindalee), travelled to Vanuatu to help provide treatment, education and long-term animal welfare support for local communities and their pets. 🐾

During the clinic, 171 animals were desexed - bringing the total number of animals helped through the program to an incredible 1,315 since September 2023.

A huge thank you to the Petbarn Foundation for contributing $15,000 towards this important initiative, and to our volunteers, teams and customers who help make programs like this possible every day. 💚

🦷🐾 Beautiful boy Mojo had a dental procedure at our Glen Eira clinic to treat a Feline Oral Resorptive Lesion (FORL) — a painful condition where the body starts breaking down the tooth structure itself.

FORLs can unfortunately be common in cats, especially those over 5 years old and while the exact cause remains unknown, they can cause significant discomfort if left untreated.

Mojo may have seemed a little “extra” relaxed after his procedure but keeping him comfortable and pain-free was our top priority 💙

With the affected tooth removed, he’s recovering beautifully thanks to Dr Nick — and is already back to singing for his supper! 🎶🍽️

Patient of the week goes to 3month old kitten Axel.
There is no sweeter baby in the land and our staff were all besotted with this little ginger fluff ball.

Axel visited us today for his Castration procedure.
His day started with some cuddles and a full health check, then onto his desexing procedure. (we won't go into too much detail in case young Axel reads this).
After his procedure came more cuddles, a nice warm bed and some yummy snacks before his mum and dad came to collect him.

The award for cutest baby of the week goes to Bambi, the sweetest little heifer calf who had all the nurses lining up for cuddles.

Bambi came into the clinic for an umbilical hernia repair, after her successful procedure and an uneventful recovery, little Miss Bambi has returned home to her owner.
