Hi All,
Just a reminder that “out the back” Hopetoun Road cross country facility is currently closed for schooling due to the EA Tooradin Horse Trials running in the first weekend in December.
We will advise after the event when the course will be reopened for schooling.

The Tooradin Estate cross country course at 75 Hopetoun Rd Tooradin will be closed from Sunday 12th March and will re open on Monday 26th March 2023, after the SMZ Horse Trials 🏇

In honour of all the Garryowen riders past and present, we would like to remember Kath Metherall who sadly passed this year. Kath was a legendary Victorian horsewoman, a great friend to the Francis family and a long time neighbour of Tooradin Estate. Kath won the Garryowen twice; Judy came second twice. They were great friends and competitors. As a girl, Kath’s daughter Anne would ride over to Tooradin Estate, side-saddle on her pony Tubby. Anne became a major inspiration for all RDA riders in Victoria. We, of Tooradin Estate, will deeply miss Kath, her wisdom, humour and presence. She was such an equestrian institution. Now, her granddaughter Fiona is back in the neighbourhood and we are delighted to have Kath’s spirit living on in the local horse community here, along with her great grandson Benny. We send our love and respect to the Metherall clan.

Hi Everybody,
Urgent message that the Tooradin Estate competition course is closed for schooling tomorrow (Saturday 27th August 2022) for a canine event.
It will open again on Sunday 28th August 2022.
Please spread the word.

Hi All.

Just warning to you all that Lynes Road and Dore are both a dreadful state for all vehicles, I suggest approaching the property from the Tooradin-Station Road end of Lynes Rd. Please process with caution ⚠️

Cross county schooling course has reopened.

Please note that all cross county schooling entry is now back at 300 Lynes Road, No bookings required
please enter through the main gate, parking in the float area, complete release form and payment of $30 per horse at the office.
Enter the cross county course via the lane way.
The Hopetoun Road gates will now be locked.

Hi All,
Please note that the Tooradin Estate Cross Country course will be closed on Saturday 5th of March and reopen on Monday 28th March, after the JB horse trials and Mini Tooradin.
The front pond paddock may be available for schooling upon request. Call Sally for availability 0450961038
