Sometimes grooming isn’t about teddy cuts and fluffy coats—it’s about comfort, care, and doing what’s best for your fur baby. 🐾

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Missy to Glamour Paws. Missy had recently been rescued and arrived with fleas, matting, and a very dirty coat. Our priority was making her comfortable and helping her feel safe and cared for.

Missy received a pre-shave to remove the matting, followed by a triple wash, flea rinse, gentle blow dry, and a final clip and tidy. Most importantly, she received plenty of patience, kindness, and lots of cuddles.

She left the salon feeling fresh, comfortable, and looking like a brand new pup. ✨

At Glamour Paws, we believe that humanity over vanity is of upmost importance especially I cases like this, and we will always choose what’s best for the wellbeing of the dogs in our care. 🐶💛

Not every small business has room to “just take a little off.”

You wouldn’t ask your hairdresser for a discount.
You wouldn’t ask your nail tech for a discount.
You wouldn’t ask your lash tech for a discount.

So please don’t normalise asking your dog groomer for one.

Grooming isn’t just a “wash and fluff.” It’s time, skill, training, physical labour, expensive equipment, ongoing education, insurance, rent, and genuine care for your dog’s wellbeing.

Behind every groom is someone standing for hours, lifting, sc******ng, bathing, drying, and making sure your pup is safe and comfortable the entire time.

Respect the craft.
Respect the time.
Respect the small business.

This little face deserves quality care — and the people who provide it deserve fair pay 🤍🐾
