Today, with a very heavy heart, I have to say goodbye to our beautiful Molly. 💔🐾

Molly wasn’t just a cat – she was part of the Wendy’s Pet Meat family, our resident mascot, official greeter, supervisor of all shop activities, and friend to so many of you. At 15–16 years of age, she lived a wonderful life filled with love, sunshine, treats, naps, and countless pats from customers.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to give her a cuddle, a scratch behind the ears, or simply said hello. She adored the attention, especially from the children who would come looking for her and light up when they found her lounging in her favourite spot.

Molly has been here since I purchased the property 14 years ago. Through all the changes, busy days, celebrations, challenges, and memories, she was always there. She was the last of my original little crew, which makes this goodbye even harder.

My heart is truly broken. The shop won’t quite feel the same without her gentle presence, her curious little inspections, or seeing her stretched out watching the world go by.

Run free now, beautiful girl. 🌈🐾 May there be endless sunny spots to sleep in, plenty of treats, and all the love you could ever want.

Thank you for 14 wonderful years, Molly. You were loved by so many and will be missed more than words can ever say. ❤️
