Today’s crew brought their manners AND muscles—and we are here for it!
Most of the pack came when called, hit those sits like pros, and listened on the first go (well… mostly).

A smooth load-up with a side of swagger—we love to see it!

“Why don’t you crate the dogs during the day?”

It’s a question we’re often asked—and the simple answer is: they don’t need it.

As you’ll see in this video, with 16 dogs in the yard, only one is still up and moving while the rest have found their cozy spot for a midday snooze.

At daycare, our dogs learn to self-soothe and settle themselves when they need a break. Whether it’s from the heat, the excitement, or just part of their natural rhythm—they nap when their bodies tell them to.

We believe in building calm, confident dogs who can read the energy of their environment and respond accordingly—no crates required.

☀️ Welcome to Thursday – The Pre-Long Weekend Energy Dump! 🐾

We’re convinced the pups know we’re heading into another long weekend, because they came in hot and decided to burn every last bit of energy from the word GO! Zoomies, wrestling, tag, fetch—you name it, it’s happening.
Let’s meet today’s high-octane van pack:
🏃‍♂️ The Runners
Sparky & R***r (feat. Kenai) – These lads are determined to settle who’s the fastest. They’ve launched a yard-wide track meet with 100+ laps (we lost count). Gold medal energy.
🤾‍♂️ The “Tag, You’re It!” Crew
Blessing, Zeno & Rukus – Their rules? You’re it until you make it to the tub—aka the splashy safe zone. Fast, loud, and a whole lotta fun. Absolute daycare legends.
🤼‍♂️ The Wrestlers
Kenai, Whiskey, Luther (when not tumbling), & Diego – It's a strength showdown in the yard today. Tag teams, one-on-ones, and even the occasional chaotic 3-on-1 match. Luckily, Sunny the Alpha steps in when it gets a little toorowdy.
🎾 The Outliers
• Zeus – Fetch king only. Will not be disturbed. Doesn’t share balls. Thinks the other pups need to calm down.
• Bonnie – Still adjusting to daycare life. There are so many dogs, and she’s just figuring out who’s cool and who’s… not.
• Ellie – Spa day vibes 🌿 In the tub, then into the dirt for exfoliation, handing out kisses, and back in the tub for a rinse. Repeat.

🚐 Load-Up Sass Level: MAXIMUM!

Today’s van load-up came with a side of attitude and a whole lot of personality!
Some pups nailed their sit first try (gold stars for you), while others needed a moment… or five. We even had a few dramatic “drop instead of sit” performances—great flair, not quite the brief.

Friendly reminder:
“Come, dogs name” should only need to be said once—not on repeat like a broken record. Let’s work on those listening ears at home too so that we don’t sound like a broken record here 😂

But you know what? Progress is progress, and we’re seeing it every single day.
Persistence, patience, and practice—we’ll get there!

🐾 Welcome to Wild Wednesday with the Van Pack! 🎉

It might look calm in today’s video, but don’t be fooled—this hump day crew gave us a false sense of peace before erupting into full-blown zoomie-fueled madness. Buckle up as we introduce today’s pack of adorable chaos:

🎾 Kenai – Fetch? Wrestling? Socialising? He’s in for everything. A total social butterfly with a ball obsession.

🎭 Sparky – “Let’s play fetch! BUT—I won’t give you the ball. You can chase me instead.” Also happy to wrestle and dip in the tub like it’s a spa day 💅

👃 Lucy – Surprise of the morning! Greeted everyone with a wag and a sniff (yes Mum, we got it on camera this time). Now curled up under the stairs, supervising from the shade.

⚡ Peppa – That black-and-white blur you saw zoom past? That’s Peppa. Fast, focused, and fabulous. Legs made for speed!

🎩 Bingo – Fetch acrobatics at their finest—leaping, twisting, rolling his way to victory. Might bring the ball back. Might not. He likes to keep us guessing.

🧓 Rusty – Our wise ol’ man is saving his energy, waiting until the young ones burn out… unless your name is Kenai or Sparky—then he’s maybe up for a wrestle.

🤼‍♂️ Quest – Always down to rumble. Wrestling? Say less. Trough-dweller, wrestling champion, social butterfly. He’s got range.

🌀 Cerbie – Started off calm to fool us into thinking he was going to have a chill day. Plot twist: wrestling, fetch, tag, and maximum noise output. Cerbie’s here to party.

🧸 Luther – With Kong Jumbler in mouth, he’s kinda playing fetch, kinda deciding if he and Bingo are besties today or not. Also enjoys strategic chaos deployment.

🦗 Diego – Official bug patrol by day, secret wrestling MVP by mid-morning. Referee, competitor, and announcer rolled into one. If you’re playing rough, Diego will weigh in.

🎾 Onyx – Sir Fetch-a-Lot is hoping for a personalised ball experience. Not impressed when others interrupt his game. He’s here for calm vibes and precision throws.

💋 Ellie – Miss Water Baby! Splashing in the tubs, handing out kisses, and catching rays like a little sun-loving sweetheart.

We’ve hit the ground running this Tuesday (literally)—today’s van crew is buzzing with energy and ready to make up for lost time! Whether it’s chasing, splashing, shaking toys, or just saying hello to every single blade of grass, these pups came in with a mission to play hard. Let’s meet today’s pack:

🚀 Kenai – Fetch? Tag? Wrestling? He’s here for all of it, thriving with the bigger group and soaking up the fun. If it moves, he’s playing with it!

😅 Sparky – Taking it upon himself to crack the code on the quieter dogs today. “No” is simply not in his vocabulary. Persistent? Absolutely.

🛁 Rukus – Missing his sister Nala but rediscovered the glory of the tub. Dip, zoom, chase, repeat. It’s a strategy and it’s working.

🐕 Sadie – She doesn’t want the ball—she wants to chase the chaser. Nothing personal, Alice, but she’s coming for you.

🎯 Blessing – Name a game—she’s in. From fetch to wrestling to tub parties, Blessing is our all-rounder queen of the yard today.

🎾 Alice – “Throw. The. Ball.” No, she’s not bringing it back, but she will shake it violently a few times and dart off with a smug smile.

👃 Cerbie – Taking a much-needed break from foster duties, spending his morning sniffing the entire yard before casually jumping into tag mode.

🧸 Luther – Got his trusty Kong Jumbler, ready to chase alongside the fetch crew. Just don’t try to take the ball from his mouth—rookie mistake.

🦋 Diego – Started off with some serious bug hunting, but don’t be fooled—he’s got plenty of sass to dish out and is not shy about telling off the misbehavers.

🌱 Butch – Said a friendly hello to the plants, grass, and every dog, then found his happy place chilling in the tub.

👣 Paddy – Mr. Independent today! Venturing beyond his brother’s side to greet new dogs and even join a fetch chase or two. Go, Paddy!

⚡ Zeus – Picked Rukus as his playmate of the day. They’re in a full-blown tag tournament, chasing each other in and out of the tub—who needs a gym?

😅 Marcy – Still working on that personal space concept. Friendly reminder, Marcy: we don’t put friends in our mouths!

💛 Katniss – Our amazing foster girl is flourishing! So many new friends and—did anyone notice?—WAY less jumping today! Progress!!

🚐 Let’s Load Up the Van! 🐾This afternoon’s van crew came with a little bit of extra personality (as always).🐾 Toby’s first time being loaded up—we’re still working on that patience game, buddy! But he’s giving it a good crack and learning fast.🐾 Nala & Rukus? Absolutely not ready to leave yet, thank you very much. There’s still fun to be had, and they’re not done soaking up the yard time.
