Yesterday I enjoyed a day out from working IN my business to a wonderful inspirational day with ladies at the Wheatbelt Business Network Wheatbelt Women in Business
luncheon.
With ladies from all over the wheatbelt, hardworking, success stories and support were shared.
From a honey farm to car dealership to photographer to lawyer to accommodation to clothes and gift shops to dog groomer to wellness coaching to cafes.

My story to grooming

Over the years Mum had toy poodles which I loved washing and brushing. I always wanted to be a hairdresser and as a child I loved brushing my dolls hair and cutting it, hence none of my dolls had much hair left by the time I grew out of the doll stage!

In my 20’s my parents suggested I learn to groom professionally to which I did a Certificate in Dog Grooming. I now have over 27 years experience.

I worked in the salon where I received my training until the owners retired. From there I groomed on a casual basis in-between working in aged and disabled care and gradually set up a home salon in Quinns Rocks that became a very busy salon.

Having recently made Toodyay my home I have just opened my salon, Bubbles n Paws Pet Stylist, and I look forward to providing a quality grooming service for our town and surrounding areas.
