Stoked to announce our golden girl Ruth(Havana Fever) has tested in foal to Dee Bar Isa Stylish Hawk.
Ruth is by the incredible Pl***oys Buck Fever(By Freckles Pl***oy) and is the only mare by him here in Aus.

A massive thank you to Todd at Emerald Park Performance Horses for all his help in making this foal possible.

We are tired.
Losing my heart mare Indy and her unborn foal really put a dent in my passion.

For anyone who knows us, knows the awful luck we have had with breeding to try and recoup our service fee we were stuck with after she passed. And never mind the additional fee we bought when we made a deal with someone which fell through(that we are now also stuck with).

Buying beautiful mares to attempt to replace her isnā€™t felt the same and it feels like we are breeding, just for the sake of breeding(attempting to use outstanding service fees). Which we are not about.

I selected that cross with ever hope and dream riding on it and it turns out, that path wasnā€™t meant for us.

Here we are 2 years later, still in the same position.

We will be looking to reduce our numbers to only have 2 riding horses here. Which is a shame because some of our mares are absolutely incredible.

Itā€™s a sad time. But I hope afterwards, we can find our freedom and not feel as restricted and pressured.

Welcome to our newest Narran Park Baby by Granite!

She made her entrance last night at 1:30. With a bit of help through the tight portal, she was up and running around before her first sip!

Spice is elated with her hard work and is absolutely smitten.

A huge thank you to Jack for being there with me and helping when I needed him. Jack also works incredibly hard to ensure all our pastures are adequately planted and maintained, providing the best feed and keeping our mares in beautiful condition. I couldnā€™t live this dream without such a supportive person by my side. Thank you darling x

Our beautiful Maiden Hott Chex Gene(Cathy) decided enough was enough and blessed us with not only a daytime birth, but the sweetest little Buckskin Splash filly we could have asked for. Right on her 340 day due date.
Welcomed to the world at a very reasonable time of 11am.

Jack and I got to watch her wrangle her uncooperative legs while sitting in the grass having our coffee. Close by. What a beautiful day!

Hott Chex Genes is By Recycled Genetics and the little one is sired by ā€˜A Smokin Gunā€™ who is by ā€˜A Hollywood Customā€™ out of a ā€˜Colonels Smoking Gunā€™ mare.
Baby is 7 Panel clear by parentage and we will test to see what type is Splash she carries. šŸ„°

A long awaited milestone.

Our stables slowly talking shape. This has been a long build with many many hurdles.

We are both fortunate and unfortunate enough to live on beautiful rocky Granite country. Great for the scenery, not great for shed footings šŸ«£

6 months later, the foundation is done and we are up in the air.
Still a lot of earthworks to be done, but glad to see it finally starting to look like something more than holes in the ground.

A little late here, but Iā€™d like to welcome our newest mare, Hot Chex Genes.

A beautiful, roomy, big sook of a mare.
She is 7 Panel Negative and Eeaa.
She is also in foal to A Smoking Gun for a September foal, so we are super excited.

A huge thanks to Vohland Quarter Horses for allowing us to purchase her. It is not often a horse arrives BETTER than the photos, but she sure did in this instance.
