Thankyou to those wanting to donate money to my shelter. Even though my shelter in Thornton/ Taggerty, is near the fire affected area , I have had no direct fire impact. Please donate to Tarcombe Wildlife Shelter or Merton Wildlife Shelter who were actually fire affected or Gunyah Animal Healing Sanctuary. Fortunately we werent fire affected but obviously with active fires around us, we are still at risk if weather. conditions worsen. Today we picked up donations from Help for Wildlife and Miks Foster Dogs. If anyone is in need please reach out.

We evacuated on Friday as fires were close and with strong winds, thick smoke and living on a ridge it was decided best...

We evacuated on Friday as fires were close and with strong winds, thick smoke and living on a ridge it was decided best to get the animals out to safety. We returned today. Luckily we had no fire damage. Fires though are still active and wind has picked up.
