AVAILABILITY FOR 2026

As we say farewell to the last of our holiday horses over the next week or so I thought I’d pop in with our availability for 2026:

LONG TERM RETIREE:
2 x spots available
Single large paddocks
Full care
Restful environment- 6 week farrier program - 3 -6 month worming program - includes 1st grade lucerne hay as needed

SHORT TERM HOLIDAY:
2 - 3 paddocks available on rotation
First in basis
Pre booking essential to hold your spot
Full care
1st grade lucerne hay or supply any special feed to ensure gut health.

All paddocks either have natural shade or shelter- horse friendly fences, other horse mates ‘next door’ , caretaker on the property 24/7

Rates vary as per care needed so please DM if you’re interested- we’ll jump on a call to make sure we’re the right fit for you & your horse.

Just a boy & his sprinkler in the summer time heat!

No one loves hose time quite like this old guy Merle, & with the hot temps last week this was a daily occurrence 💦 💦

Isn’t he handsome? not looking at all like the 25 yr old he his.
Retirement never felt so good!

5 years ago this kind & gentle mare joined our Scroggies horse family.
The one with the best nicker at feed time, the best auntie to new horses & generally the over sized lapdog that wanders the garden for extra green pick.

She just keeps getting shinier & happier with age!
Her horse mum have now moved to property so home she goes to kiddy cuddles & a happy mum.

We look forward to seeing her again for holidays & so does my gelding bud who will be love sick for days no doubt.

What better way to experience the Dolomites like a local than 3 days on horse back. If this is on your bucket list as it was on mine, get on it!!! Far surpassed anything we could have imagined.

Holiday pamper time 🏝️

We have such a soft spot for this smart & kind Brumby boy & his bestie princess Charlotte.

May seem an odd couple, A little bit like the Aussie bushman’s best friend being a stiletto wearing glamorous city girl.
But it works

Time for head down, roll around, kick about & sleep - on repeat!

It’s rare to see both horses relaxed enough to rest together without one being on ‘watch’. So this always makes us so happy to see that they feel this comfortable to do rest easy here with us. 🐴🐴

The weather is giving us a little taste of a beautiful spring to come this week & it won’t be long before there’s length in the green stuff again.
We’ll be taking holiday & early Christmas bookings ( can you believe I’m saying that? ) from September onwards.
