Adoptions open now

We welcomed another little dingo pup into our care yesterday! This sweet boy was found in our local area by MOP and is in good condition he is about 5 weeks old and wieghs 2.2 kilo. I believe he should have been left in the wild, with monitoring for parent dingoes, as it’s common for them to be nearby while they are venturing out of the den to explore, or the parents may have been out hunting. Once a dingo puppy comes into care it’s illegal to return them to the wild.

It’s important to remember that well meaning people often don’t realise that puppies found alone in the bush could be dingoes and mistake them as being dumped puppies. If you come across a healthy puppy that might be a dingo, please reach out to us on our mobile 0409 545 389 for advice. Let's work together to keep our dingoes wild

🚨Urgent Fundraiser for a Little Alpine Dingo Pup!🚨

This little alpine dingo pup was found emaciated and in poor condition by a caring MOP in the far southern highlands. Unfortunately, no other rescue can take her in, HDR is her only option!

We’ve approved three adoptions this week, which frees up some space for her, but we urgently need to raise **$1,000** to cover essential costs, including:

🐾 Microchip
🐾 Vaccinations
🐾 Food
🐾 Flea, tick, and mite treatment
🐾 Heartworm and worming
and desexing.

Dingoes are not for everyone, but for those who truly respect and understand these remarkable animals, they can make incredible companions. Their unique personalities and intelligence require a dedicated and knowledgeable owner who is willing to embrace their individuality.
