After much soul searching and a few tears, I’ve come to the heartbreaking decision to place Ima into a forever home. She deserves to have more one-on-one time than being a one-of-nine at this stage in her life.
When Ima came into our life she was only meant to be temporary but then Covid hit and she was here a little longer. That “little longer” turned into adoring her ❤️, making history being the second solid Pointer in Australian history to achieve a championship title (the first in 70 years, and so far the only solid liver). She gave me the gift of Kiki, and now her wonderful second litter that I never thought I would see. She is the most fabulous dog in temperament, loving, funny, loyal… and she LOVES to run.
Ima has her lure coursing title and will be competing in Sprint Dog for the first time this weekend. I have no doubt she will nail it. She lives for zipping around spaces as much as she loves a cuddle on a couch. I am currently still showing and sporting with Ima - she’s 6 years old and super fit, but I’m making the call now so a family can have time with her in her prime ❤️
Ima also loves children as the many junior handlers who have taken her into the ring over the years can attest. She is gentle and patient with even the smallest of people. She is also dog friendly. *Ima is NOT small animal friendly as she likes to hunt - might be okay with a cat with planned introduction*
Ima does have a chicken allergy so anyone taking her on has to be committed to a 100% chicken free diet. Fortunately there are more and more products on the market these days that make it easier to manage.
All I am asking for is a wonderful home where she will be part of the family, you cover the co$t of desexing and she can be yours.
I’m located in Tasmania so first preference would be someone here. She would suit someone interested in dog sports or looking to start in dog sport, or she would make a great jogging companion, or simply a great family pet.
