🌧️ ITS GO TIME FOR WINTER FEED 🌧️

With a week of constant top rain predicted we’re up at sun rise heading our bets to get winter feed planted.

This year input costs are alot higher than normal however we’re maintaining a strict diet for the ladies and gents planting a mixture of legumes, grasses, brassicas, and broadleaves, each playing a critical role in soil enhancement and providing a nutrient dense diet for the animal.

Follow along as we welcome what we hope to be a bountiful winter crop 🍀🌾🌿🌱

I still have fond memories of my uncle showing me a sheep’s three stomachs and watching him blow up the sheep’s lungs through its wind pipe. Not to mention being chased with a sheep’s bladder! The city kids had no idea what they were hearing at show and tell. four generations on and the biology classes continue. 🐑 🐮 🐓
