Tannum & Boyne K9 Obedience School We offer: Puppy Pre-School (under 5 months), Beg Classes dogs (over 5 months) & Advanced. We have private lessons to help or prevent any problems.

Using a balanced method of training to match YOUR Dog is very important! Classes and Private lesson available. Puppy Pre School: Come and have lots of fun with your pup and learn how to train them in a gentle way. Having Socialization in the puppy pen. Then off to do some training. They learn Heel, Sit, Wait, Stay, Come, Away, Dance etc and of course Socialization. Beginners Class: Who is walking

who? Who is the boss of who? We will teach you all about things in regards to Pack Structure, all dogs work in packs! The class is held over 10 weeks which is no rush training and plenty of time for you to learn. Your dog will learn all types of training everything from sit, drop, stay to come to Dog dancing and much more. Private lesson/Home Visits: We come to you home to work out any problem that you might be having. And put you and your dog on a Management program. We also offer Advanced Classes, Agility, Fly-ball, Dog Dancing and more. We have Fun competitions!! Just Call us or facebook message us to Enrol your Dog in one of our classes. YOUR DOG IS NEVER TO OLD!!! It is great to have a well balanced and happy trained dog at your side. They can be great Companions. PLEASE REMEMBER we don't train dogs in the office so please leave a message on the answering machine and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

We would like to thank everyone for their support of K9 over the last 23 years. The support we received from Gladstone, Tannum, Boyne, Agnes, Bilo and surrounding areas never ceased to amaze me. We are only taking bookings for private lessons and home visits until the 10th December 2023.
Over the 23 years we have met so many beautiful dogs and fantastic handlers and made life long friends! We will miss you all.

From the 10th of December 2023 K9 will close and shortly after this page will be closed down. We still have some stock here for sale like check chains and long lines. Please save any photo's that you may like to keep.

Again we would like to thank everyone for your support, and we wish you all the best with your K9's.

We are taking bookings for our new puppy preschool class and beginners class starting Sunday 27th August. All puppies must have had their 2nd vaccinations and be under the age of 5 months to be able to attend our puppy course, all K9s over the age of 5 months and fully vaccinated go into our beginner's course. The puppy course goes for 5 weeks, starting at 2pm, and beginners classes for 10 weeks starting at 4pm.

Good afternoon, thank you so much for your patience with having our time off to grieve the passing of my dear Mum. Since then I have broken my foot in 2 places and have been in a cast for the last 4 weeks, making it impossible for me to restart our beginner course & commence our new puppy course.

I am slowly getting back on track & will be answering your phone calls & messages today & in the coming days as there is quite a lot for me to go through. I am working on our date to recommence the classes either this weekend or next weekend, I will let you all know asap.

Due to my Mum’s sudden passing K9 won’t be starting our new puppy course. The Puppy course that is finishing tomorrow will still go ahead so they can finish as well as the beginner class then both Lou & I need time to grieve & somewhat recover. I will contact everyone who is booked in to the puppy school & let them know.
