🧐 Ever wondered why racehorses wear ice boots?

Just like elite athletes, racehorses need time to recover after strenuous exercise.

Ice boots are used after trackwork, trials and races to help reduce inflammation and cool the tendons, ligaments and joints that absorb significant impact.

Recovery plays a huge role in keeping horses sound, comfortable and ready for their next assignment.

Troy O’Neile and connections will appreciate a return to racing at Tamworth on Saturday following a plethora of abandonments due to the recent wet weather.

On his home track, O’Neile will have up to five runners going around, teaming up with Angel Brennan and Jenny Duggan on what will be a busy day for the team.

Racing Tomorrow - Saturday 6th June

Tamworth’s biggest punters club - held on Saturday 6th June in the upstairs function room, get your mates together for an afternoon of fun and winning!!

$35 entry for the punters club - includes beverage on arrival, bar snacks during the afternoon and entry to the punters club

How it works -

To enter the punters club, pay $35 on arrival to the upstairs function room

You will receive a beverage voucher to use at the bar (beer, wine or soft drink only)

Your name will be entered into the raffle, with the chance to be drawn out to place a bet on a selected race

Cut-off to join the punters club is 1:30pm

The total at the end of the day will be divided between the punters club.

It is FREE entry to the course & everyone is welcomed upstairs.

Bistro open with a new menu, the heating will be on.

Gates open at 12pm with the first local race at 12:56pm
